The 12th Annual Live Like Jake 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, April 25 at Downtown Abacoa in Jupiter. This year, we’re proud to highlight our signature theme: “Wear Bright – Stay in Sight.” Show up in your brightest neon to help us spread the message of drowning prevention and child safety.

Registration Includes:

• Choice of a high-performance race shirt or hat

• Swag bag (first 600 in-person participants)

• Custom finisher medal (first 1,200 registered)

Race Day Schedule:

• 6:15 AM – Registration Opens

• 7:30 AM – Race Start

• Awards Ceremony immediately following, featuring:

  • Largest school team

  • Largest gym team

  • Overall biggest team

  • Traditional age-group awards

The morning also features a lively Kids’ Zone with fun activities, music, and entertainment for the whole family.

As one of the most beloved community events in South Florida, the Live Like Jake 5K raises critical funds to provide ISR self-rescue swim lesson scholarships and to support families who have lost a child or have a child with critical medical needs.

START/FINISH LOCATION
University Blvd & Crescent Dr. – right next to Stadium Grill
 

RACE START TIME: 7:30 AM SHARP
Please allow extra time for parking and walking to the start line!
 

START LINE ETIQUETTE
Fast runners – line up at the front
Casual runners – line up behind the fast group
Walkers & strollers – please start toward the back
This helps keep the race safe and smooth for everyone!

NO Dogs or Scooters on Course
For everyone’s safety, we ask that dogs and scooters stay home.
 

PARKING
There are three parking garages surrounding the start/finish area, plus nearby street parking.
Road Closure starts at 6:30 - South Bound Central & University between Central and Main street. 
Please carpool if possible and arrive early! (MAP BELOW)
