About 15th Annual FBRTC 5K Trail Race and Walk
Continuing efforts to develop the Southern New England Trunkline Trail (SNETT) into a multi-use path for Franklin & Bellingham. The SNETT is an abandoned rail bed running from Franklin through Douglas to the CT border, sections of which have become fully developed multi-use paths linking communities across southern Central Massachusetts. Early Bib Pick-Up / In-Person Pre-Registration on Friday, May 15 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at:
BFT (Body Fit Training)

Parking
Ample parking at Waters Corporation, 210 Grove St, Franklin, MA. Please follow any directions from on-site volunteers/signs.
Race-Day Registration
Race day registration will be available on-site until 8:45 AM.
NOTE: Day-of registration will be $40 for ALL participants.
Race-Day Schedule
7:30 AM – Day-of (post) registration and bib/packet pick-up opens
8:45 AM – Registration closes
8:55 AM – National Anthem at race start area
9:00 AM – Start for runners and walkers
10:15 AM – Awards Ceremony
5k Course
Out-and-back flat and fast course on SNETT recreational trail. Entire trail surface is level hard-packed dirt. Please follow directions from any on-course volunteers.
Runner Water Stop/Aid Stations
One water stop at the half-way (1.55mi) turn-around point.
Volunteer assistance will be stationed at approximately every 0.5 mile point along the course.
Post-Race Reception and Free Raffle
10:15 AM – 12:00 NOON: All participants are eligible for a free drawing for a number of prizes. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN (no exceptions).
Refreshments
Water, sports drinks, oranges, and bananas will be available to all participants.
