Welcome to the Autumn Chase Fun Run: Kids Run for Kids
a Huntsville Track Club event
presented by The Huntsville Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter

Since 1981, the annual Autumn Chase Fun Run has been a 1-mile fun run promoting healthy habits in our community's youth through running with a local philanthropic impact! This is a FREE event and all Preschool, Elementary & Middle (PreK-8th) school age children are welcome. School Faculty are also welcome to join in the fun and we encourage you to promote this event through your school and get all children engaged.

The Huntsville Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter along with Huntsville Track Club are excited to provide our community and opportunity to get outside and give all children (PreK-8) in the Huntsville and surrounding areas the chance the run for the Autumn Chase Fun Run. 

Help Us Support the Huntsville Hospital Pediatric Audiology Unit and local kid’s charities!

While the Autumn Chase Fun Run's focus is promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for our kids, the proceeds from sponsorships and donations go to benefit Huntsville Hospital's Pediatric Audiology Unit, along with local kids charitable organizations. If you would like to donate you have a couple of options!

Option 1: Online Donations. You can donate money to the unit via Paypal or Venmo!

Option 3: Day of race donation. Throughout the race area, find a volunteer with a donation bucket!

The lives of infants and children in our community and their families are important to us, and we know they are important to you. On behalf of the Delta Zeta Huntsville Alumnae Chapter and the Huntsville Track Club, we hope to see you on race day!

There is day of race registration available! Please arrive with plenty of time before your heat to go through registration, put on your bib, and get warmed up.

Registrations after 9/1 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. If there are extra shirts, they will be available on race day.

Times will be recorded for the top 10 finishers of each race and available for review at huntsvilletrackclub.org

Awards Include
• T-shirt & ribbon to all finishers
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals
• Special ribbons for 4th - 10th place

Is there a registration fee?
There is no registration fee, but donations to Huntsville Hospital Foundation are appreciated and will benefit the Pediatric Audiology Unit at Huntsville Hospital.

Who can run in the race?

Any child, preschool through 8th grade, may register for this run!

Publicity

Please note that the Fun Run is a public event which may attract media attention. Delta Zeta also takes photographs that may be used for marketing, advertising and social media purposes. By participating in this event, you grant the right to use you or your child's image(s) for such purposes.

Race Schedule

Children can run in another category if they miss their group or if they feel more comfortable running with a friend or sibling. A child can only win or place when he/she runs with their own grade category. They will receive a t-shirt and participation ribbon, but will not qualify for a medal or placement ribbon.

Thursday - Race Day!

• Preschool & Kindergarten - Boys: 4:00 p.m.   Girls  4:15 p.m.
• 1st grade                              - Boys: 4:30 p.m.   Girls: 4:45 p.m.
• Faculty Walk/Run                - Men: & Women: 4:55 p.m.
• 2nd grade                             - Boys: 5:00 p.m.   Girls: 5:10 p.m.
• 3rd grade                              - Boys: 5:25 p.m.   Girls: 5:35 p.m.
• 4th & 5th grades                  - Boys: 5:50 p.m.   Girls: 6:00 p.m.
• 6th, 7th & 8th grades          - Boys: 6:10 p.m.   Girls: 6:20 p.m.
