2026 Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament - CCFD Community Foundation

The Battle of the Badges is a softball tournament that has been hosted by local first responders for the past 40 years. The CCFD Community Foundation is honored to take part in this event and carry on the traditions of our local heroes.  

Our event brings together first responders from various Police, Fire, and EMS agencies across the state to promote camaraderie and unity amongst each other.

All proceeds raised from this event will go toward the CCFD Community Foundation’s First Responder Support Fund, benefiting first responders and their families in need.

The event will happen on February 21, 2026

How To Register Your Team.

The Team Captain should be the first team entrant so that he/she can setup their team name and pay the $500 registration fee.

Captain clicks on the "Sign Up" icon on the main page.

Captain after agreeing to the waiver - on the next screen selects "Create a New Group or Team"  then enters the team name he wishes his team to be known by and for the "Group/Team Type" selects Level A .  The captain then completes the entry screens - checks out and pays the $500 team registration fee.

Registering Your Other Team Members:

When registering individual members, select the "Team Entry Fee" - proceed thru the screens -  At the team selection page instruct your team members to select "Join Existing Team" then select the team name created by the captain.  Continue to the checkout page - the entry fee will be $0 when each team member checks out.
