Join the 2026 Cooperative Family Fund Virtual 5K Walk/Run to support families of fallen electric cooperative employees. 

Why put on your walk/running shoes

The Cooperative Family Fund provides support for children when they experience the loss of a parent actively employed at an electric cooperative. This support demonstrates the value our cooperative network places on cooperative families at the time of their greatest need. Every step you take helps provide support to families in need—your participation truly makes a difference. Proceeds from the race go to the Cooperative Family Fund.

What you need to know

• RACE: Complete this virtual race anytime during the week of September 20-26, 2026.
• COURSE: You choose your location/course. 
• COST: $35 for each participant, plus processing fee. The registration price increases September 1 to $40, plus processing fee.
• APPRECIATION: A commemorative keychain will be mailed to each participant.
• Submit your race day photo(s). Once you register for the race event, you will get a registration confirmation email that includes a link to be able to contact us and from there be able to send us your photo(s).  We will use photos to thank and support this event. 

How can I increase my support

• BUY SWAG: During registration choose to add a t-shirt and/or medal for an additional cost.
• DONATION: You can also make a donation. It is easy! Click the donation button, choose your amount and send!
