About 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run
Celebrate the 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run!
Door County’s first trail run invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to choose a 2K, 5K, or 10K route at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on June 13, 2026. Chip timing will support staggered starts by distance, with the 10K beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K approximately ten minutes later, and the 2K shortly after that. The awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 am.
Packet pick-up is Wednesday, June 10 – Thursday, June 11 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday, June 12 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, June 13 from 6:30 - 7:30 am at the Collins Learning Center. To reserve your t-shirt, registration must be made by May 21, 2026. Participants who register after May 21, 2026, may opt to choose from a selection of previous year's race shirts.
All proceeds benefit Crossroads at Big Creek.

Bikes, Spikes & Dogs
Bikes, shoes with spikes, and dogs are not allowed on the course during the race. As always, dogs are allowed on the property but must always be on a leash.
Aid Stations
There will be two water stations on the 5k route and three water stations on the 10k route.

We are right around the corner from the 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run and we're just as excited as you are!
Here are a few information points to help you prepare for the day:
- All race day activities are based at Crossroads at Big Creek's Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan St., Sturgeon Bay.
- Packet pick-up is June 10 and 11 from 9:30 am-3:30 pm and June 12 from 9:30 am-6:30 pm at the Collins Learning Center at Crossroads at Big Creek and on Saturday, June 13 from 6:30-7:30 am.
- If you registered prior to May 21, you will receive a 2026 T-shirt in the size you requested. Those registering after May 21, may choose from prior year T-shirts.
- Parking is available at the Collins Learning Center with overflow parking across the street at Whitetails Unlimited at 2100 Michigan Street. Please do not park on the grass.
- We will collect gently used running shoes for donation to the Door County YMCA. They may be dropped off at the entrance of the Collins Learning Center.
- Start times will be staggered to alleviate bottlenecks on the the trail. 10k runners will begin from the Starting Line at 8:00 am, 5k will begin at approximately 8:07 am, and 2k will begin at approximately 8:10 am.
- Remember to follow flags on the trail, not the runner in front of you.
- Chip-timing is provided by Tortoise & Hare Timing. Official times will be posted as runners finish and will be available on CrosroadsRun.com and tandhtiming.com.
- BIKES, SPIKES, and DOGS are not allowed on the course during the race. As always, well-behaved dogs are allowed on the property but must be on a leash.
- After the race: Be sure to bring home your native tree, courtesy of Evergreen Nursery! Also enjoy a post-run/walk cherry sundae, with cherries from of Lautenbach's Orchard Country, and topped with granola from Kick Ash Products!
Prizes
5K & 10K Men & Women Overall winners will each receive a piece of locally made pottery by Garden Girl Stoneware.
5K & 10K Age Division winners will receive:
1st Place: Local maple syrup from Schartner's Farm Market
2nd Place: Local honey from Max & Dee's Honey Bees
3rd Place: Locally made soap from Logan Creek Soap

Parking
A limited amount of race day parking will be available at Crossroads at Big Creek's Collins Learning Center parking lot, which will also serve as the starting line, finish line, and runner's concourse. Overflow parking is available across the roads in the Whitetails Unlimited parking lot, located at 2100 Michigan St. Please be respectful to our neighbors by only parking on the paved areas and not the grass!
