Set in the scenic and serene Holly Recreation State Park, the Gobbler Gallop features a closed course on 100% paved roads, making it safe, smooth, and perfect for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Whether you're chasing a PR or just looking to burn off some pre-dinner calories, this is the perfect way to kick off your holiday.

🗓️ Date: Thursday, November 26th – RACE DAY! (THANKSGIVING)
⏰ Time: 7:15 AM – 8:50 AM

🎽 Pick up your race bib, event shirt, and finisher swag before the starting gun!
✅ Race day packet pick-up only – Arrive early to avoid the rush and get race-ready!

COURSE DETAILS:

• Out and Back Course
• 100% Paved Roads --- Closed Course
• Hilly Course with Elevation Changes

Cones will separate the middle of the road for Return Route
Same Course Route as 5K, but instead of turning left around at the Disc Golf area to return --- 10K runners will turn right and go down to the Wildwood Cabins Parking Lot turnaround.

At 5K Turnaround (1.55mi mark & 4.65mi mark for 10K)
At 10K Turnaround (3.1 mi mark)

• Can you run with a stroller?

  • We welcome parents with jogging strollers! Your child must remain securely fastened inside the stroller while on the course for safety and insurance reasons. 

• Can you run with a dog?

  • We love dogs! Because of our love for dogs, we do not allow them to participate in a race designed for people unless they are service dogs. Dogs are welcome as spectators!

• Is there a gear check?

  • No, there is not a gear check. We recommend leaving all items you do not desire to run with in your vehicle on race day.
