2026 Hot Dog Festival - WeCare Recovery Home Color Run 5k

Get ready to run, walk, laugh, and get covered in color at the WeCare Recovery Home Color Run 5K, part of the 2026 Frankfort Hot Dog Festival!

This untimed 5K fun run/walk is designed for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're chasing a personal goal, walking with friends, or making memories with your family, this event is all about having fun while supporting an important cause.

Along the course, participants will pass through multiple color stations where volunteers will shower runners and walkers with vibrant, non-toxic, food-grade colored powder, creating an unforgettable finish you'll be talking about long after race day.

Proceeds from the Color Run benefit WeCare Recovery Home, a nonprofit organization providing hope, healing, and long-term recovery for women overcoming addiction. Every registration helps support life-changing recovery services right here in our community.

Color Run Tips

Every registered participant will receive an official WeCare Recovery Home Color Run T-shirt. We recommend wearing your event shirt during the race to show your support and create the perfect colorful keepsake.

Want even more color? Wear white! White shirts, shorts, socks, hats, tutus, headbands, and other accessories make the vibrant color powder stand out and create amazing photos.

The color powder used during the event is non-toxic, food-grade, and washable. While most colors wash out with one or two laundry cycles, we recommend wearing clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting colorful.

Bring your friends, bring your family, and don't forget your camera. By the time you cross the finish line, you'll be wearing your accomplishment in every color of the rainbow.
