2026 Turkey Trot 5k and Gobble Wobble Kids Mile

Join us for the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k & Gobble Wobble Kids Mile benefitting the United Way of Central Arkansas. 

The tradition continues in Conway on Thanksgiving morning, and we are back at UCA's Estes Stadium For 2026.   We are starting on the UCA campus in front of Estes Football Stadium just off Bruce Street. You will take a stroll through Arkansas' most beautiful campus and over to the Stone Dam Creek Paved, Multi-Use Trail that leads through a beautiful wooded preserve, across the Dave Ward Drive pedestrian bridge, to the water station turnaround, and back.

Strollers permitted. No bikes. No pets.

Can't be there in person? We also offer a virtual run/walk option and you will still get all the swag! Virtual racers can complete the race and submit results between Nov. 26 and Dec. 5.

1. Can I register for the Turkey Trot/Gobble Wobble on race day?
Yes, we will open registration on race day from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. All race day registrations must be done via your cellphone with payment via credit or debit card. No cash or checks accepted on race day. Please register before arriving or while waiting in line in order to expedite your wait time and ensure your race packet is ready. 

2. When and where can I get my race packet?
We will have two days for pre-race packet pickup at the United Way of Central Arkansas Office at 1107 Main St. Conway, AR 72032

Monday, November 24 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Tuesday, November 25 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Wednesday, November 26 from 9 a.m to 12:00 p.m. 

Additionally, packet pickup will be available on race day from 6 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. at the race site. 

3. I registered for the virtual race. How will I get my race packet(s)?
If you plan to race virtually, there are two ways to get your race packet: Pick up on the designated pre-race packet pickup days identified above, or select the shipping and handling option during registration to ensure your packet is mailed on Nov. 15 or the next business day if you register on or after Nov. 15. 

4. Can I bring a stroller? dog? bicycle?
We allow strollers in the 5K, but please line up toward the back of the pack to allow racers space at the start line. Babies/toddlers in strollers do not need to be registered for the race.

For the safety of all racers, no dogs or bicycles are allowed on the race course.

5. Can I wear headphones?
You can wear headphones, but we recommend ensuring the volume is low enough to hear your surroundings.

6. Where do I park on race day?
There are several parking lots around Estes Football Stadium with plenty of parking available. Event parking off Bruce Street will be marked with signage.

7. Can I run in the Gobble Wobble Kid's Mile with my child(ren)?
Yes, but please register for the race as a parent. You have two options: Paid Parents receive all the race swag including the t-shirt and medal, while FREE Parents are registered in our system and have a bib to identify them but do not receive any race swag.

8. What are the routes for the Gobble Wobble and Turkey Trot?
We will start and end in front of Estes Football Stadium on the UCA Campus.

9. Can I pick up a family member or friend's race packet?
Yes, but please have them email j.clawson@uwcark.org in advance so we know you have permission to pick up their race packet.

10. Are the t-shirts unisex size? Are they wicking?
Our t-shirts are Bella Canvas brand with unisex sizing and made from 100% cotton. They are non-wicking.

11. Can I run the Gobble Wobble Kids Mile with my child and then run the 5K?
Sure! We won't start the 5K until all kids are finished with the mile race. 

12. Will there be age group awards?
We will be recognizing the top male and female finishers in the following categories with awards at approximately 10 a.m. following the Turkey Trot race: 
Gobble Wobble Kids Mile - Top 3       
Turkey Trot - Top 3
Wheelchair Division - Top 1
Turkey Trot Age Divisions (Top 3):
9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Overall winners will not be eligible for age group awards.

NOTE: Initially these notifications will be classified as "Preliminary Results" due to the nature of chip timing. Your initial finish time and pace will stay the same but there could be a chance that your finish place could change. At the awards presentation time for each event, the results will become final.

Gobble Wobble Kid's Mile (1 mile)

The kid's mile is an out-and-back course through the UCA campus. The course begins and ends in front of Estes Football Stadium. Parents may run with their child/ren but MUST be registered. Paid and FREE parent options are available. Must be able to finish 1 mile in 30 minutes or less.

1. I'm racing virtually. How do I get my swag bag? 
If you cannot pick up your bag during the pre-race packet pickup dates/times here, then please ensure you have selected the shipping/handling option when completing your registration. We will start mailing registered virtual racer swag bags on Nov. 15. If you register after Nov. 15, your swag will be mailed the next business day. Registration for virtual racers ends on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m. Your finisher medal will be included in your swag bag.

2. How long do I have to complete my virtual race?
You will be able to submit results online between Sunday, Nov. 20 at midnight and Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m.

3. How do I submit and view results?
When the results submission window is open between 11/20 and 12/3, you will be able to submit your results in several ways. Check out this link for more info!
