2026 Two Rivers Turkey Trot (3K) & Tater Trot (1K) Fun Run

This Thanksgiving, connect with friends, family, classmates and neighbors to walk, jog or run through nature. Start your morning on the Anacostia Tidal Marsh as we kick-off the second annual Two Rivers Turkey Trot! The route will run through the back nine of the Langston Golf Course, a hidden gem and arguably the most beautiful area in DC. 

Organized by a group of volunteers, proceeds support the Two Rivers Public Charter School. Your support helps ensure that students at Two Rivers continue to access exciting, rigorous, and joyful hands-on learning experiences, arts integration, and community connections.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Registration Fees: Registration is $25 per adult, $15 per child (discount shown at check-out).

Course Notes: The course distances are approximate and timing services are not available. The 3K course surface includes grass, gravel, and pavement. Running strollers with big wheels are allowed. Other strollers may work on the gravel and pavement 1K course surface. Participants may park strollers and bicycles near the start.

Food Drive: Please bring one non-perishable food item per registrant to support our food drive for a local organization. 

Thanksgiving Dinner Costume Contest: Dress as your favorite Thanksgiving food to participate in our wacky costume context. Creativity welcome!

Rain Policy: The event will occur rain or shine! In the event of lightening or extreme weather, organizers will cancel with no refunds or rain dates. Registered participants will be notified of cancellation by email.

Pet Policy: While service animals are welcome, no pets allowed.

Waivers: All participants must be registered to ensure we have a signed waiver on file.

Give-aways: Medals for all children finishers. No t-shirts.
