STOP — READ BEFORE CREATING ANY NEW TEAM

When creating your Tandem and Relay Teams please follow these instructions for naming your teams. ALL TEAM NAMES MUST END WITH THE RUN DAY AND RUN # (see below instructions). If you do not use the correct naming format:

>the system will place the team originator in all seats on the team;

>or will merge teams into one run:

>or will assign athletes incorrectly.

 

ANOTHER REMINDER: this event limits athletes to serving on TWO Tandem Teams and TWO Relay Teams.

 

THIS IS THE REQUIRED TEAM NAME FORMAT FOR TANDEMS AND RELAYS

Note: Use forward slashes / exactly as shown.

 

For Hybrid Teams

Team Name / Run Day / Run #

Example of how name should be entered: Bobs Boys / Wednesday / Run 1

 

For Fire Department Teams

Team Name / Run Day / Run # / Team ID    (enter team ID only if applicable)

Example of how name should be entered: Smithfield Fire Department / Monday / Run 1 / Team A 

 

IF YOUR TEAM PLANS TO RUN MORE THAN ONE TIME DURING QUALIFYING ROUNDS TO IMPROVE YOUR RUN TIME:

 

Please follow these Naming Examples:

 

TEAM RUNS THEIR SECOND RUN ON THE SAME DAY AS THE FIRST RUN

Please register and create a new team. You will use the same team name but change the Run #. This tricks the system into seeing these are two separate runs.

 

Example: Bobs Boys / Wednesday / Run 2

 

TEAM RUNS THEIR SECOND RUN ON A DIFFERENT DAY

Please register and create a new team. You will use the same team name but enter Run 1. This informs our timers that it's the same team running again.
 

Example: Bobs Boys / Thursday / Run 1

 

Note: although this is your teams second run, you will enter Run 1 because it's on a different day.

 

IF YOU PLAN TO RUN ON TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS ON THE SAME DAY YOU MUST SELECT RUN 1 & 2 IN ORDER FOR THE SYSTEM TO ALLOW YOU TO BOOK THE RUN.

 

TERMINOLOGY (Read Carefully)

Team Name:

     Fire Department Teams: your full legal department name

     Hybrid Teams: any professional, non‑offensive name

Run Day: The day of the week your run takes place (Monday, Tuesday, etc.)

Run #:

     Run 1 = your team’s first run that day

     Run 2 = your team’s second run that same day

Team ID (Fire Department Teams only:) A unique identifier when your department has more than one team in the same subcategory. Examples: Team A, Team 1, Team Blue
