To honor the life and accomplishments of Kelly Watt "The Friends of Kelly Watt" will be hosting the 22nd Annual Kelly Watt Open. The race of 3200 meters (2 miles) on a grassy trail surface. The proceeds will go to the Kelly Hansen Watt Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is awarded annually to a deserving Albemarle High School student athlete.
