29th Annual Casey's 5K/Fun Run & KISD Family Health Expo

Casey’s Kids is a Certified Course

The Keller Council of PTAs and Keller ISD is gearing up for the 29th Annual Casey’s Kids Fun Run/5K and KISD Family Health Expo, and we need your support. Your contributions, along with those from others in our community, have made it possible for Casey’s Kids to assist students in Keller ISD who have a need. 

Casey’s Kids, inspired by former Keller ISD counselor Janie Casey, has been a cherished program within Keller ISD for many years. Ms. Casey discovered that a student was missing school due to a lack of clothing. This revelation motivated Ms. Casey to create a solution for providing clothing to disadvantaged students. In 1997, the Keller Council of PTAs took on this vital initiative, and today, its mission is to supply clothing, essentials, backpacks, and school supplies to KISD students to help them make their potential a reality.

Details for the event:

1. Packet Pick Up: Thursday March 5th  12:00-6:00
                               Friday March 6th 10:00-6:00
                  Location: Bear Creek Running Co

                                        121 Rufe Snow Dr #103, Keller, TX 76248

1. Event day packet pick up opens @ 6:30 AM at Bear Creek Park, 400 Bear Creek Parkway.
2. T-shirts will ONLY be available during Packet Pick Up and Race Day. NO DELIVERIES.
3. Those who register after 2/15/2026 t-shirts will be available 'WHILE SUPPLIES LAST."
4. Limited parking at the park. Please plan to utilize our free shuttle from Bear Creek Intermediate School, 801 Bear Creek Pkwy.

*The school with the most registrations as a percent of their school's enrollment for Casey's Kids will have the honor of hosting the Casey's Cup in their school for the 2026-2027 school year. 

**The school who raises the most money as a percent of their school's enrollment for Casey's Kids will receive the "Be the Change" award and will host the "Be the Change" plaque for the 2026-2027 school year. Donations for this will be handled through the local PTA at your school.

Finisher medals for the 5k will be distributed to 5k runners only as they complete their race.

Warmups @ 7:30

1 Mile Fun Run @ 8:00

5k @ 8:30 am

On-Stage entertainment will begin @ 9:15am.

5K Awards Ceremony will be held @ 10:00am.

Awards will be given to the Overall Winner & Masters (40+) Male & Female; 

and the top 3 in these age categories:

  10 & under     11-14     15-19      20-24      25-29       30-34      35-39       40-44       45-49       50-54       55-59       60-64       65-69       70+

 

***NEW Carter Blood Care will be holding a blood drive at the Health Expo!
We are excited to announce that Carter Blood Care will be attending the KISD Health Expo. If you would like to make an even bigger difference in the community, phlebotmoists will be taking blood donations during the Health Expo. You can make an appointment on their website.
