About YMCA 4 on the 4th
Super fun 4 mile run/walk on the 4th of July. Come out and celebrate America's 250th birthday. Wear your best red, white & blue. The running and walking for the 4 Miler starts promptly at 7:30 am. The Kids Race starts at approximately 8:30 am. Once your registration is complete, please go to the Donation Page and select the amount of your donation. Remember all of the race proceeds go right back into our community! We're committed to supporting youth sports and activities directly through our local YMCA.
Race is limited to 400 participants. The race typically sells out online before race day so please register early!
When available, race day registration does cost considerably more so plan to register early.
And remember that ALL registration must be completed online.....there are no paper forms.
Must register by June 21, 2026 to receive a race shirt.

The YMCA West St. Tammany is proud to present the Annual 4 on the 4th! This event is a great way to celebrate our nation’s birthday and to help our community!
For over 25+ years the event has committed 100% of the race proceeds to go directly back into our community. With your help and support, we’ve been able to contribute thousands of dollars to local community organizations that benefit kids sports and youth programs, with relationships through the our first responders with the Covington Police and Fire Departments, as well as community invested partners who support us each year.
