40th Annual Cole Porter Classic 2026

PERU ROTARY CLUB’S COLE 40TH PORTER CLASSIC:
5K & 10K ROAD RACE
10K RUN ** 5K RUN ** 5K COMPETITIVE RACE WALK
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2026
All events start at 9:00 AM.  
You must be able to complete the 10K run in 1 hour and 30 minutes!!!

SPECIAL NOTE:
NO pets or wheeled devices allowed.
Exception - wheelchairs or child strollers designed for trails or roads are permitted.

PACKET PICK-UP & REGISTRATION:
Location: Miami County YMCA, 751 West 2nd St., Peru, IN. 
Race day packet pick will open at 7:30am

Pre-registration closes at 11:59pm on September 27, 2026! (Required to be guaranteed a long-sleeved shirt)

late registration will be available Online only UNTIL 3:00PM on October 2, 2026. (Shirt size and availability not guaranteed)

PRE-REGISTRAION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, BUT ON-SITE RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE!

THE COURSE:
The course is relatively flat and continues along the Riverwalk Park trail, city streets and on the NPT. All events begin and end at the YMCA.

AGE & OVERALL WINNERS:
Awards will be presented to the male & female winners in various age brackets for the following events: 5K Run, 10K Run, 5K Competitive Race Walk. There will also be a 1st place overall award presented for the 5K & 10K runs and for the 5K Competitive Race Walk.

RACE PROVISIONS:
Division Awards - Restrooms - Frequent Water Stations - Chip Timing

***The first 150 entrants Will receive a finishers medal!!
