About 4th of July 5K Blast
Celebrate the upcoming 4th of July holiday with a 5K run at Kellogg Zaher Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026. A beautiful park with a running path, nestled near the central west part of the city. The finish will include participant medals, awards, water melon, water, snacks, and fun!

12 and younger participants receive a $10 discount.
Charity Partner: While registering, consider making a donation to the Student Nurses Association, School of Nursing, UNLV, helping them to provide leadership opportunities, broadening knowledge, exercising community involvement and advocating for and contributing to advances in nursing education.

FAQ
WHAT TIME DOES THE RUN START? The run starts at 7:00am PDT.
WHERE DO I PARK? There is plenty of parking available at Kellogg Zaher Park. Use the park entrance at Cimarron for the closest parking to the start/finish.
ARE THERE AWARDS? Registered 5K participants will receive a finisher’s medal. There will be Overall Male and Female awards in addition to age group awards for the 5K. The top 3 in the following male and female age groups will receive an award: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
CAN I WEAR HEADPHONES? Yes, headphones are allowed but not recommended for safety purposes.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED? Yes, leashed dogs are allowed on the run. We just ask that you start near the back so you don't interfere with the faster runners.
ARE STROLLERS ALLOWED? Yes, you are welcome to bring a stroller on the run. We just ask that you start near the back so you don’t interfere with the faster runners.
IS THERE A GEAR CHECK? The race starts and ends near the parking area so we ask participants to keep their extra clothes in their vehicles.
CAN I WALK THE 5K? Yes, walkers are welcome!
IS THE RACE CHIP TIMED? Yes–you will have a disposable timing chip in the form of a sticker on the back of you race bib, please wear your bib on the front of your shirt/outer layer.
HOW MANY WATER STATIONS ARE THERE? There will be one water station for the 5K near mile 1.5.
WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS LOCATED? There are restrooms located behind registration/check-in.
WHEN AND WHERE IS PACKET PICK-UP? Packet Pickup: Friday, June 3, 2026 from 3pm-6pm at 24 Hour Fitness Summerlin, 2090 Village Center Circle. Friends and family can pick up your packet for you!
CAN I PICK UP MY PACKET RACE MORNING? Yes, packet pickup will be available race morning beginning at 6:30am at Kellogg Zaher Park beside packet pickup.
CAN I PICK UP A PACKET FOR SOMEONE ELSE? Yes, just give staff the full name of all registrants you are picking up for.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE? Online registration closes Friday, June 3 at noon. Registration will be available during packet pickup on Friday, June 3rd from 3pm – 6pm at 24 Hour Fitness Summerlin, 2090 Village Center Circle, and on and race morning beginning at 6:15am.
CAN I GET MY PACKET MAILED TO ME? Packets must be picked up in person and cannot be mailed before or after the race.
REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There are no refunds for this event. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to government restrictions or unfavorable conditions. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to “Acts of God".

Packet Pickup is on Friday, June 3, 2026 from 3pm-6pm at 24 Hour Fitness Summerlin, 2090 Village Center Circle.
Friends and family can pick up your packet for you!
Packet pickup will also be available race morning beginning at 6:15am at Kellogg Zaher Park between fields 2 and 3.
