5K & Fun Run for LIFE

Join us for Chester County Connect Care's Annual 5K & Fun Run for LIFE on Saturday, November 7th, 9:00 AM (registration opens at 8 AM) at Hibernia Park - Pavilion 5 in Coatesville, PA!  This incredible event is open to all levels of runners and walkers. 

This event serves as a fundraiser for the work we do here at Chester County Connect Care. Our total Fundraising Goal for 2026 is $65,000!  All funds raised (after expenses) will support our ongoing mission of providing free quality medical, educational, and material support to at-risk women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.

You can run as an individual, fundraise and run as a team, walk the course, or serve as a volunteer.

As they grow and learn, they also earn essential material assistance like diapers, wipes, clothing, formula, and so much more. Our commitment is to empower and uplift every parent, ensuring they have what they need to thrive and provide the best possible future for their children.

Then, become a CCCC FUN-Raiser for LIFE. Create and personalize your own fundraising page by clicking here.

Earn awesome swag for yourself while raising FUNds that provide help and hope to families right here in Chester County.

Step 2:
SHARE your personal FUN-raising page! Let your friends and family know that you are raising money to help save lives right here in Chester County. It's important to show them WHY you support CCCC.

Join us on Saturday, November 8th at Hibernia Park to walk/run for LIFE!

Join a Group During Registration 

1. Navigate to the Race Page of the race
2. Click Sign Up to begin the registration process
3. Enter in all participant information
4. Select your event
5. Answer "Yes" for the question "Would you like to join a Team?"
6. Click Continue
7. Select the group/team you would like to join from the drop down menu
8. If a password is required, enter in the password your Group Administrator set. **Remember passwords are case sensitive.**

Proceed through the registration process and you will reach a screen with this information. Select "Join Existing Group/Team". Find your group and carry on with the registration!

Join a Group After Registration

1. Sign In to RunSignUp
2. Go to your Profile
3. Navigate to Upcoming Events.
4. Click Manage Registration next to the registration you would like to add to a team
5. Click Group/Team on the left-hand sidebar
6. From the pop-up select Join Existing Group/Team
7. Either select a Group/Team from the dropdown or Search Groups/Teams
8. Click Continue
9. Click on the “Group/Team” tab, and the default view allows you to see your "Current Group/Team" information.
10. Click on the tab for "Join Existing Group/Team", and then you will be given the fields needed to join this group.

Once under the "Join Existing Group/Team" tab, you will have two options for locating the team you want to join.You can either scroll through the "Select Existing Group/Team" drop down menu, or you can start typing in the name of the team you would like to join in the "Search Group/Teams" section, and select the correct team from those that appear below the text field.

If you are registering with multiple people on the same transaction, they will automatically have the same team selected for them.

 
Saving a Group

If you do meet the requirements, and you are joining the group after registration, then you will receive confirmation that your group information has been updated.

Once you have completed the registration process, then you will be added to the group.

If you leave the registration process before completing your transaction at the checkout, then you will not be added to the group.

Please note that if you are registering multiple people at once, then you will need to go to each registrant on the transaction and select which group they will be joining. RunSignUp will not assume that each additional registrant will be assigned to the same group as the first person who joins a group.

Q: Why do I not see this option?

A: This Race does not have this feature enabled for Participants or does not currently allow Participants to edit this portion of their Registration. Please contact the race directly with any further questions by using the "Contact This Race" link at the bottom of the Registration Management page.

Q: How do I reset my Group/Team password?

A: You can reset your Group/Team password by logging on to RunSignUp with the account that has is admin/captain of the Group/Team. Scroll down to Groups/Teams and click on the "Edit Name/Password" link.

Q: How do I change my Group/Team name?

A: You can change your Group/Team name by logging on to RunSignUp with the account that has is admin/captain of the Group/Team. Scroll down to Groups/Teams and click on the "Edit Name/Password" link.

Q: How do I create/join a Group/Team after registration is completed?

A: You can create a Group/Team after registration via Manage Registration. Log on to RunSignUp > Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Groups/Teams menu > Create New Group/Team OR Join Existing Group/Team.

Q: Why is my registration not showing in my profile?

A: Don't worry! Most of the time you are registered, but your registration is just associated with a different account. Here are reasons why this happens:

Your registration is associated with a sub-account of another user.Someone registered you for a race using their account, so you were created as a sub-account.
Your registration was imported.A lot of races will process entries manually. You just need to claim your uploaded account as described here
You used a different email address to register.You can merge accounts with different email addresses by following the guide here
You did not complete your registration.First look to see if you are registered on this race's "Find a Participant" page. If you still do not see yourself and have a charge on your credit card that has posted, please contact info@runsignup.com. If you do not see yourself here, and you also have no charge on your account, then you are not yet registered.
You registered under a typo.If you find your registration on the race's "Find a Participant" page, but you don't see it under your account (and you have claimed ALL possible accounts as explained above), then you may have registered under a typo. Please contact info@runsignup.com.

This course is partially on gravel, be prepared with the proper footwear.  Jogging strollers are recommended if you are planning to push a stroller.

WHY RUN for LIFE

Participating in the CCCC 5K for LIFE is not only good for your life, it helps to SAVE someone else's!

When you sign up for the CCCC 5K for LIFE, you are supporting the mission of Chester County Connect Care; To educate and empower individuals and their families to make life-affirming choices. This is accomplished through education, resources, and support. 

Jesus is here working among us. We see Him in action working miracles time and time again at CCCC.

God recently used Dulce, one of our newest members of the CCCC family, who was previously a client, in a way that will melt your heart and remind you to fall to your knees in gratitude.  

A Spanish-speaking woman walked into CCCC just before closing on a Friday afternoon with her three-year-old son. She was coming to inquire about having an abortion. She had three children from a previous marriage that was quite tumultuous. Filled with fear, her past paralyzed her, and she listened to the lies Satan was repeating in her head and felt her current husband would not be supportive.

Our beautiful child of God, Dulce, felt she was not equipped for such a conversation but learned that God had prepared her for this moment. She, too, was filled with debilitating fear and doubt, but He had already instilled within her all the essential traits, gifts, and qualities she needed. He chose her for that job on that day. Despite her own plans to head out early to deliver items to another client, God kept her there for a purpose.

Dulce was the one who would shine the light of Christ so brightly that the client would see only love and would experience a sense of comfort and serenity that His miraculous work could only explain. Dulce was poised, calm, and endearing. She shared her story and encouraged this fearful client to call her husband. What a reminder to embrace your testimony because God uses it in amazing ways! This woman came in with fear and doubt and left with hope and encouragement. Her husband was overjoyed and could not understand why she hesitated.

After hearing Dulce’s story and learning how CCCC would walk alongside her with support, education, and resources, she realized she wanted to have this baby and provide a loving home with the rest of her family. In two different circumstances, these two women left their fear at the feet of Jesus, opened their hearts, and allowed God to take over: gracefully surrendering.

Our amazing Lord is alive and well. He is working miracles for us and through us. What a gift it is to be a witness to His work!
