SCHOOL SPIRIT RUN IGNITED By Addition Financial at SEAWORLD ORLANDO
Come together with your friends and family (or fellow alumni!) and run, skip, jog or stroll through the 6th Annual School Spirit Run IGNITED By Addition Financial at SeaWorld Orlando on Saturday, February 6, 2027! Participants can enjoy the sights, sounds and everything SeaWorld has to offer as you're traveling around the park’s picturesque pathways and right through the iconic Sesame Street neighborhood. The course is approximately 3 miles in distance!
This event is sure to be a hit with the whole family: we're even featuring a FREE Kids Fun Run for participants ages 7 and under following the School Spirit Run!
This event celebrates our community’s schools and all things “school spirit”: the rivalries, the memories, and the experiences that add joy to our lives, not to mention the teachers, coaches, mentors and others who help our children grow and thrive. Proceeds from the run benefit the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, whose mission is to identify, develop, and focus community involvement and investment to lead our students to success. Event Morning Timeline
6:00am - Registration and Packet Pickup opens (near SeaWorld main entrance)
7:00am - Parking lot closes - please plan to be onsite at least 45 minutes prior to race start.
7:05am - START of the School Spirit Run (approximately 3 miles & walkers will start behind the runners)
7:30am - Finish line festival begins
8:15am - Awards Ceremony
8:30am - FREE Kid's Run will start

Race T-Shirts
All participants who register for the School Spirit Run and Kids Run will receive a dri-fit unisex t-shirt. Please register by January 15, 2027, to guarantee availability of the correct t-shirt size!
Finisher Medals
All PAID participants will receive a custom School Spirit Run themed finisher medal that participate in the Fun Run event! The race will be capped at 5,000 race participants!
Fun Run Awards
Awards will go to the top 3 overall Male and Female finishers only in the School Spirit Run event. There will be a clock at the finish line for everyone to see their finish times. And it’s not just about how fast you can finish: there will also be age-leveled prizes for most school spirit, best mascot (come in your best costume!), best rivalry challenge, school with the largest number of registrants, and more!
Weather
Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Safety Rules
In order to ensure safety of all runners, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, baby carriers and dogs are prohibited from the race course. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

Race Day Registration
-$60.00 per registration, those 13 & Up
-$40.00 per registration for those 12 & Under (We will only accept credit card payments on race day via Runsignup).
Strollers
Strollers are allowed in the School Spirit Run event. Nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. We do ask those registrants participating with a stroller to line up the after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up on the day of the race. Only paid registrants of the Fun Run event will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive the medal, you will have to register them for the Fun Run event.
Kids Fun Run
Following the 3 Mile Fun Run event, we will host a FREE Kids Fun Run & Dash! All kids must be registered, and you can do that on race day at the Registration table. All Kids who participate will receive a Kids Run Finisher item! Distances will vary between ages, ranging from a 50-yard dash to a 200-yard dash.
Early Packet Pickup & Team Box Delivery:
Schools that have over 75 registered participants will have their race box of items brought to them personally by the team from FOCPS!
For any team [regardless of team size] - to be included in this team box, you must REGISTER by Friday, January 29th @ 12 p.m.!
If you register after that date, your items will be available but will not be included in the Team Box.
WHEN: Tuesday, February 2nd will be Team Box Pickup Day only. Wednesday, February 3rd - Friday, February 5th, race packets will be available for all individuals and teams.

PARKING: Please use the official address: 445 W Amelia Street, Orlando, FL 32801. This will take you directly to the OCPS Parking Garage, where you can park and enter the building through the interior garage doors.

1. Tuesday, February 2nd - Thursday, February 4th will be from 9AM - 4PM
2. Friday, February 5th will be from 9AM - 1PM

When and where does the race take place?
The School Spirit Run and Kids Run will take place at SeaWorld Orlando and will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2027. On-site race registration and late packet pick-up opens at 6:00 am at the main entrance to SeaWorld. Race start time is promptly at 7:05 am following the National Anthem. The race is a fun run and it will take your through SeaWorld and Sesame Street's Main Street!
Is Parking Free for the event?
Yes, parking is included with your entry fee! Please plan to arrive at SeaWorld Orlando at least 45 minutes prior to race start to ensure ample time to get parked, pickup your packet, use the restroom, and proceed to the starting line. Parking lot will close at 7:00am to allow the event to have a prompt 7:15am start time.
How long is the Fun Run course?
This course is a fun run and will be approximately 3 miles.
Is there a race capacity for the Fun Run event and the FREE Kids Run?
Yes, each race does have an event capacity for this year. The Fun Run event is capped at 5,000 registered participants and the FREE Kid's Run is capped at 500 registered participants.
Is this race electronically scored?
This race is a FUN RUN and is not electronically scored. We will manually score the top 3 overall Men and Women finisher's only. There will be a finish line race clock positioned at the finish line for everyone to see their finishing time.

How will I receive my results?
This race will not be electronically scored and will not have any recorded full race results. This is a Fun Run only and a clock will be at the finish line so you can see your time.
Who receives a cotton unisex race t-shirt?
All participants that successfully complete their online race registration for the Fun Run event and payment prior to January 15th are guaranteed their race t-shirt requested size. Participants who register after this date, will receive a race t-shirt but sizes are not guaranteed at this time. The t-shirt for this year is a unisex cotton blend t-shirt.
Who receives a custom inaugural School Spirit Run themed finisher medal?
All PAID participants that finish the 3 Mile Fun Run event will receive a customized School Spirit Run themed finisher medal! Kids participating in the Kids FREE Run following the paid Fun Run event will receive a commemorative finisher's ribbon!.
Can I participate in the event with my pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to participate in this event.
Can I participate with a stroller?
Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. We do ask those registrants participating with a stroller, must line up the after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up at on the day of the race. Only PAID registrants will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive the custom finisher medal, you will have to pay & register your child for the 3 mile event.
Are Spectators allowed to view the Fun Run event?
Spectators are allowed to view the Fun Run event at the start and finish areas. Spectators are not allowed into the park during the event.
What do I do with my personal items while I’m running?
We highly recommend that you leave all your personal items at home or in your car.
Should I bring my own water?
You may bring your own water. We will offer one water station available on the course at approximately half-way point. There will also be water available at the finish line.

I will be out of town on race day and not able to participate. Can I get a refund?
We appreciate your race registration. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds.
Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a no race transfer policy.
Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others. We ask that you refrain from bringing them to the event.
What will be provided after the race?
An amazing post-race festival area will be held at SeaWorld Orlando at their Event Pavilion areas after you cross the finish line. All Fun Run participants will receive a finisher's medal, race t-shirt, bottled water, fruit and a granola bar. We will host a small awards ceremony at approximately 8:30am in the post-race area.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at no charge at SeaWorld. We ask you plan to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the race start. Parking lot will close at 7:00am to allow an on time start of 7:05am.
What is the "SignUp" Fee?
The "SignUp fee" is a fee that is charged by RunSignUp to process your race registrations. The sign up fee is based on by the total amount of transactions at the time of check out not by runner.
Do I have to register online?
Yes, online registration is the only way to register for the 3 mile event, the kids run or the virtual event.
