About 6 Dot Dash
The National Federation of the Blind of Colorado 6 Dot Dash presented by Comcast is an annual 5k event to raise awareness and funds for the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado/Colorado Center for the Blind. Your support helps provide Braille literacy and blindness skills training, scholarships for deserving blind students, summer camps for blind children, and so much more. The National Federation of the Blind of Colorado works on local, state and national levels to "to achieve widespread emotional acceptance and intellectual understanding that the real problem of blindness is not the loss of eyesight but the misconceptions and lack of information which exist."
This year's race is September 12th! The 5k course will be the traditional out and back to Reynolds Landing, starting and finishing at the Colorado Center for the Blind. For those unable participate with us in person, we still have the virtual 5k option.
Event Info and Schedule
The 2026 6 Dot Dash will be a hybrid event. In-person participants will gather on September 12, 2026 and run the traditional 6 Dot Dash Course in Littleton, CO. This course starts and finishes at the Colorado Center for the Blind.
The virtual participants will have from August 1st to September 12th, to run their 5k anywhere they feel comfortable. Participants will be able to enter their result online. Online result questions can be sent to Tim from Runners Roost.
Packet Pick Up:
Packet Pickup will be held at the Colorado Center for the Blind on September 11th from 4:00pm-7:00pm and on race day, September 12th 7:30am-8:45am.
Parking:
There is some on-site parking available at the Colorado Center for the Blind and there is nearby street parking available as well. There is also a large Park and Ride at the Littleton Light Rail Station located just down the hill from the center.

Individual and Team Fundraising is back for the 2024 6 DOT Dash! Form your team and compete against your friends to help raise the most money! 100% of the money raised will go towards helping the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado keep pursuing it's mission!
Individual fundraisers who are able to raise $100 will be refunded their registration fee!
