A Run for the Books 5K & 1 Mile

Registration Time: 8:00-8:45 am; Race Start Time: 9:00 am

Course: 5K run through the Kingsville Township area starting at the Kingsville Public Library, 6006 Academy Street, Kingsville, OH 44048. 1 Mile Walk is untimed.

Registration: $30 for online & US mail registrations received until July 17. Day of event registration $35. All event proceeds to Friends of the Kingsville Library.

Shirts for the first 100 registered participants.

Free Kona Ice on site for all event participants!!

5K (only) Awards: $100 cash prize each (courtesy of AM Ford of Ashtabula County) for the top male & for the top female overall finisher! Unique age group awards for the top 3 finishers in the following age groups: 14 & younger, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and older.

Start at School Street/Academy Street
South on Academy Street
Left onto East Main Street
Left onto Sheldon Ave.
Right onto Creek Road
Right onto Mill Street
Veer left at the triangle intersection and take slight left onto Cemetery Road
Take Cemetery Road south and turn around at the Lulu Falls Cemetery (water stop)
Turn around and take Cemetery Road north and turn right at stop sign onto South Ridge Road
Go past the South Ridge Road Bridge and turn around just past the two-mile mark before going up the big hill
Go west back up South Ridge Road and turn right onto Mill Street
Left onto Creek Road
Left onto Sheldon Ave.
Right onto East Main Street
Turn right onto Academy Street to the finish

1 Mile Walk Route:
Start at School Street/Academy Street
South on Academy Street
Left onto East Main Street
Left onto Sheldon Ave.
Right onto Creek Road and proceed to the turnaround and head back on Creek Road
Left onto Sheldon Ave.
Right onto East Main Street
Right onto Academy Street to the finish
