Get ready to push your limits, test your wits, and race for a great cause! The Amazing Race for Charity is a high-energy, action-packed challenge race for teams of two, where strategy, endurance, and teamwork are key to victory. Best of all, every step you take supports local charities!
What to Expect?
The course is top-secret until one week before race day—but here’s what we can tell you:
A 5 to 6-mile race on foot through Eustis, filled with 18-20 mind-bending challenges.
Expect the unexpected—every challenge will test your mental and physical skills.
Most teams cross the finish line in about 2 hours, but the fastest racers have done it in an impressive 1 hour 30 to 1 hour 40 minutes.
Who Can Participate?
- Racers must be at least 10 years old on race day.
- Teams of two people—find your ultimate partner in crime!
- Branded race shirts and bibs must be worn throughout the event.
- The racecourse must be followed—no shortcuts!
- No extra participants of any age may join along the way.

The 2025 Amazing Race for Charity is set for March 29th. The City of Eustis is taking the lead in organizing this event, ensuring it retains its spirit while adding new and thrilling challenges for participants to enjoy during this charitable celebration. We’re excited for your involvement and can’t wait to welcome you to what is sure to be a memorable and fun experience next year!
When applying to be a charity you must be a registered 501 (c)(3) organization to apply.
Race FAQ's
Race Bibs - Race bibs are provided for identification purposes and must be clearly visible from the time you arrive at the starting line until the race is complete.
Can you custom your race shirts? It's against our rules to race in any shirt other than our branded race shirts. We reserve the right to remove you from the race without a refund if you do not wear our shirt. However, you can dress up your outfit to suit yourself and you can cut your shirts as long as the race logo is still visible and you can attach you bib under it. The race is designed for fun, so make it as much fun as you want!
Will you get wet? We guarantee and promise you will get wet. You must have shoes on during the whole race. Safety First!
Will you be expected to lift anything heavy while doing the challenges? You will never be expected to lift anything that you are physically incapable of lifting. Just say the word if something is too heavy, we will adjust your challenge!
What is the minimum age to race? Racers must be at least 10 years old on the day of the race. This is not negotiable. At least one racer MUST be 18 and up if the racer is from ages 10-15.
Can people tag along the race course? No, you cannot have your friend, child, neighbor, best friend, aunt, grandmother... tag along with you on the race course. If they would like to cheer you along the racecourse they can sign up to volunteer. Each and every racer must follow the published racecourse. Short cuts or other diversions are not permitted.
If you cannot finish the race? Simply let a volunteer or Quadrant Captain know and they will send someone to pick you up and take you to your vehicle or call 911.
Team Size? Our race teams are teams of two (2). No more, no less.
Volunteer Info
It takes about 300 volunteers to produce the race! We would love to have you!
You must be an adult of at least 16 years of age to volunteer on your own. 10–15 year-olds can volunteer with a guardian.
Be prepared to volunteer for about 5 hours on race day.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes bring water for personal use.
Please be SAFE, courteous and obey all traffic laws!
Please keep a big smile on your face until the last team has passed - Be as energetic for the last team as the first 200+ teams most importantly, have fun!
