Awaken 5k / 1 mile walk

Join us on Oct 10th at 8am for our 2nd Annual Awaken Church 5k fun day

Awaken Outreach & Church would like to welcome you to our 2nd 5k run/walk event. This is timed event to benefit our Outreach center with proceeds benefitting our weekly food pantry, monthly Community Days and services, Yearly Days of Hope, Thanksgiving, Hope for Christmas & Disaster Relief.

6:30 am Check-In for Runners 
8:00 am - 5K Run Begins w/ Walkers following
9:15 am - Awards Begin AFTER THE LAST RUNNER

T-Shirt cutoff is Oct 1st, Shirts will be in inventory until all sold out.

The course is very flat with well-marked County streets

Overall Awards custom made, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters, & Veterans.

Our mission Our primary mission is to build relationships with our community, be kind, speak life, and show God’s amazing love to everyone who comes to us. Our secondary mission is to meet the physical needs of anyone who comes with dignity and respect. We are a place they can come to that is safe and offers a sense of community. Many of those served find themselves in the situation of having to decide between paying rent or putting food on the table for their family. Our goal is to end this.
Our Vision is for our city to be led to Christ, the people filled with kindness, the poor to be fed, the unsheltered to be housed, the lonely to have community, and the sick to get treatment. We look to see the local churches, nonprofits, and government working together with the understanding that our community is our mission field. We were created,
trained, and equipped by God to serve this mission field at this moment in history.
