Bakersfield Turkey Day Run

Welcome to the 10th annual Bakersfield Turkey Day Run!  Special discount for ages 9 and under automatically applied during registration!

Event takes place at The Park at River Walk.  FREE PARKING!

What are the award categories and when will they be handed out?
 
Awards will be presented in an on-site awards ceremony. 

Age Groups(3 Deep):
0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Overall Winners(Male and Female) will be presented with a special prize in addition to their age group award. Please note, overall winners are based on GUN TIME(First to the finish line) and age group winners will be based on CHIP TIME. 
 
Can I exchange my shirt size at packet pickup?
 
-Sorry, no shirt size exchanges can be made at packet pickup. Please email us after the event to see what/if sizes are available.
 
Can I push my child in a stroller? 
 
-Absolutely!  However, we ask that you start near the back of the race to ensure you won't inhibit the progress of any runners.
 
Where do I find my results?
 
-Results will be posted about 30 seconds after you finish your race on this website under the "results" tab. You may also sign up for text results upon registration. Results are unofficial until our awards ceremony.
 
Is this race family friendly?
 
Yes! We encourage all families to participate, get active, and enjoy our great participant amenities that come along with a Classic Event! 
 
Can I bring my Dog?

 
For the safety of all participants no dogs are allowed on the course.

The Holiday Run Series includes the:

~ Bakersfield Monster Mash Dash - Oct 26th
~ Bakersfield Turkey Day Run - Nov 27th
~ Bakersfield Jingle Bell Run for Toys for Tots - Dec 20th

Participate in all 3 and receive our very special Classic Holiday Run Series medal/ornament.  Can't make it to all 3 events?  Choose the virtual run!

What a great way to start your Thanksgiving!  Run or walk on Thanksgiving morning and then eat your Thanksgiving feast guilt free. We are offering a long sleeve Thanksgiving shirt and a Finisher's Medallion to all participants.

Packet Pickup will be held at:

9000 MING AVENUE, STE. K9, BAKERSFIELD
ACROSS PARKING LOT OF LULULEMON
Wed Nov 25 from 2-6pm

If you cannot make it to Wed's pick up you can pick up event morning starting at 7 am.

Thanksgiving Day Schedule

7:00am late packet pickup begins
7:45am Costume, Gobble Contest, Spirit Award (largest registered group)
8:00am races start in waves

Please don't be late!  The Turkey can wait!
