Berkley Common Classic 5K

The Berkley Common Classic 5K is a brand-new hometown tradition celebrating community, connection, and the beauty of Berkley, Massachusetts.

Starting and finishing on the historic Berkley Town Common, this scenic 5K course takes runners through quiet country roads, shaded stretches, and the charming backroads that define our town. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a walk with family and friends, this course offers a welcoming and memorable experience for participants of all ages and abilities.

Runners will begin on the Common before heading out along a thoughtfully designed loop that winds through Berkley’s peaceful neighborhoods and natural surroundings. With gentle turns, open stretches, and a supportive community cheering you on, the course brings together the best of small-town charm and classic road racing.

This inaugural race is part of Berkley’s celebration of community and tradition—with the goal of establishing an annual event that residents and visitors alike can look forward to year after year.

Race Start Time: 10:00 AM (Registration Opens at 8:30 AM)

"Please note: This map reflects the planned race route streets and general course layout. While the roads used for the race are expected to remain the same, final course measurements are still underway to ensure the race distance is an accurate 5K (3.1 miles). As a result, the exact start and finish line locations on the Berkley Common, along with some operational details, may be adjusted slightly.
The overall flow of the race, direction of travel, road crossings as, and safety logistics are also still being finalized in coordination with public safety officials. Once everything is confirmed, detailed instructions and race information will be provided to all runners and walkers so everyone feels prepared and knows exactly what to expect on race day."
