About BFit Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament presented by Wellpoint
Partnered with the Boston Bruins Foundation, the Healing Heroes Foundation is the host of the country’s largest first responder hockey tournament, the BFit Heroes Cup. The BFit Heroes Cup is a weekend long event designed to bring firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement, and military members together to raise money and awareness for multiple charities. With 110 teams, 2,000 players, and 10,000+ spectators, the mission of the Hero’s Cup Foundation is to promote first responder mental health.
Requirements:
All team members must be active or retired fire, law enforcement, EMS, dispatch, or military.
First responder ID is required at registration and throughout the tournament weekend.
Divisions A, B, C, D with subdivisions as needed.
Teams will play:
3 games between Friday and Saturday
Sunday Playoffs:
Semi-Finals: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3
Championship: Winners will play for a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice
Fees and Registration:
All tournament fees and fundraising will be done on this site.
Fee: Team buy-in $2,500 (just $155.00 per player at a 16-person roster).
This will cover ice times, referees, score keepers, and the tournament entry package.
Deposit: $500.00 due March 5th, 2026.
Fundraising: If your team raises $2,500 above the $2,500 registration fee, you can select the charity the funds will be donated to. If less than $2,500 is raised, the funds will go to the Healing Heroes Foundation.
Top fundraising teams will qualify for additional incentives.
Registration is first come first serve so please submit your registration to reserve your spot in the 2024 BFit Heroes Cup.

The Healing Heroes Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting the mental health of first responders and military members. By bringing together firefighters, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, EMS personnel, and military members, the Foundation aims to foster a sense of community and provide financial support to individuals and mental health organizations serving these populations.

Fundraising Dates & Guidelines 2026
January 5, 2026: Registration opens
March 5, 2026: A $500 non-refundable deposit is due. This deposit secures your team’s spot. Failure to pay may result in your spot being offered to a waitlisted team.
April 5, 2026: A $1,250 minimum fundraising payment is due. If your team withdraws by this date, you are eligible for a 50% refund of your funds raised (minus the $500 deposit). Teams that withdraw after this date are not eligible for any refund. Failure to pay may result in your spot being offered to a waitlisted team.
May 5, 2026: The $2,500 buy-in fee is due. This is also the deadline for the team incentive to pick your own game times.
May 25, 2026: Deadline for the remaining team incentives and all individual incentives. Decisions are final and will be made at 12:00 AM on this date.
June 5-7, 2026: BFit Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament.
July 5, 2026: Final fundraising deadline.
If your team raises $2500 above the $2500 registration fee, you can select the charity the funds will be donated to. If less than $2500 is raised, the funds will go to the Healing Heroes Foundation.

Friday Team Dinner: Generously donated by Texas Roadhouse and served in the First Class Fundraiser Zone.

Each year, the BFit Heroes Cup brings together families, fans, and community members whose support helps define the tournament experience.

Spectator Tickets
Tickets for the 8th Annual BFit Heroes Cup powered by Wellpoint are now available — secure yours in advance to streamline arrival and avoid entry lines.
Join us for a weekend of hockey, tailgating, and community in support of first responder and military well‑being.
Ticket Information
Single‑Day Pass — $10
⭐ Weekend Pass — $20 (Best Value)
Children Under 12 — Free with ticketed adult
Every spectator ticket directly supports the Healing Heroes Foundation and funds well‑being initiatives for first responders, military members, and their families:
- Wellness Support Grants
- Community‑based programs that foster connection, purpose, and proactive well‑being
- Expansion into new services, including Equine‑Assisted Recovery (EAR)
- Continued expansion of mental health and wellness resources for our community
Your ticket is more than entry — it directly supports the mission behind the weekend.
While tickets will be available at the door, purchasing in advance helps reduce wait times and ensures a smoother entry experience.
Players do not need to purchase tickets.
All registered players will receive their Weekend Pass wristband during Player Check‑In.
Live Stream
Live stream coverage will be provided by Black Bear TV. Additional details, including viewing links and schedule, will be shared as they become available leading up to tournament weekend.
Spectator Information
Children under 12 are free with a ticketed adult. Registered players receive admission during Player Check‑In. Tickets may be printed or shown on a mobile device.
The tournament takes place at the New England Sports Center, 121 Donald Lynch Blvd, Marlborough, MA 01752.
The BFit Heroes Cup is known for its strong tailgating and fan community, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the weekend — as a result, on‑site parking can be limited at peak times.
Thanks to our Official Tournament Partner, Minardi Limited Partnership, overflow parking will be available across the street beginning Friday night after 6:00 PM and continuing throughout the weekend.
