About Big Bad Wolf 5k & 1 Mile Lil' Piggy Run
Since 1995, this 5K Run and Fitness Walk has been a part of Paducah’s Barbecue on the River weekend. This race is regionally renowned for its legendary pig trophies, great t-shirts, and a flat course that you can run or walk your personal best time. This years race brings back the popular corporate team challenge, where the team with the highest average pace gets the coveted traveling trophy, and bragging rights for the year. Don’t forget to bring the kids for the 1 mile youth run! This is a professionally timed event.
- Shirts will be guaranteed for those registered by 9/9.
The race course for the 5K and the 1 mile youth run begins in downtown Paducah at the Paducah Bank main branch, located at 555 Jefferson Street.

$100 prize for 1st place/overall male and female.
Special trophies for top 3 males, top 3 females, top Masters (40+) male and female, and top Grand Masters(50+) male and female. (See picture for previous special awards)
Age groups awards- Male/Female
24/under, 25-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 +
Youth 1 Mile Awards:
Medals given to all finishers. Award given to overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Male & Female winners. 1st Place award given to male and female in each individual age group: 6 and under, 7 - 8, 9 - 10, and 11 - 12.
Packet Pick up
You will have 2 options for packet pick up.
On Friday 9/25 from 3:30pm-6:30pm, Etcetera Coffee House 320 N 6th Street.
You can also wait until race day and pick up your packet starting at 6:30 am.
Corporate Teams
Any corporation, profit or non-profit, may participate.
Both full-time & part-time employees may participate.
3 employees are required per team. All 3 participants must be employed by the same employer.
Multiple teams per employer are allowed and encouraged to register. The fastest 3 will be team 1 and next 3 will be team 2, etc.
A team award will be awarded to the top team.
