Big Red Apple 5K & Fun Run

The Big Red Apple 5K, presented by First Baptist Church of Cornelia, begins and ends at the church and the course goes through the Cornelia City Park. The One Mile Fun Run is 4 laps around the church property. Participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and official race timing. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner, as well as age group category winners. 

*You must be registered by Sept. 6th to be guaranteed a shirt. All those registering through race day will receive shirts while supplies last.

Packet pick-up will begin at 7:45AM on race morning.

Jazzercise will lead a warm-up before the race and BSG Coffee will be on site with coffee to energize you for the race or for a nice treat afterwards.

Participants are encouraged to check out the Big Red Apple Festival in Downtown Cornelia after the race! 🍎🍎🍎

For the 5K, awards will be given to Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female who will receive a pin as well as a jar of apple cider and a gift card to a local Cornelia coffee shop "*BSG Coffee". Age group awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place beginning with 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc. up to 80 and over. Age group winners will be given a pin for their medal ribbons.

For the 1 Mile, medals will be given to Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female.
