About Bigfoot Challenge 5k/8k Presidents’ Day
Join us for at beautiful Waterfront Park to celebrate President's Day! All entries receive a Patriotic T-shirt and a Custom Bigfoot Finishing Medal. Sign up early to be guaranteed a shirt. You will not want to miss out!
Race Distances: We have something for everyone! Sign up for the 5k, 8k, or Kids Dash.
Results: 5k iand 8k races include live chip timing. Live results provided online and via text/email. The race will be professionally timed by the J3 Timing.
Age Group Awards (5k): Bigfoot Trophies to Overall and Masters (40+). Awards to Top 3 in each age group: 12 & under, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Age group awards presented live during the race!
Course Map
5k / 8k The course is along the beautiful paved waterfront trail at waterfront park, out and back. Walkers please enter the 5k. 8k participants will continue past the 5k turnaround point, and turn around on the trail. Both courses are out and back with a water stop available both directions. Course map coming soon!
Kids Dash: 10 & Under Kids Dash participants will participate in a super fun out and back short sprint before the 5k race. Kids run with Bigfoot! Great photo Opportunity! Parents can run with kids. If kids would like to participate in the 5k, that requires a separate registration.
Trophies to Overall & Masters Male/Female
Overall Winners and Masters Score a Custom Bigfoot Trophy in Both the 5K and 8k. Custom Awards toTop 3 Age Group winners of each bracket (live during the event) 5K awards will be live first. 8k awards will start 20 Minutes after first 8k finisher crosses the line.
