Before the main race, our youngest Warriors can join the excitement with a Kids Fun Run, taking one lap around the track while family and friends cheer them on.

After crossing the finish line, the celebration continues with:

Saturday Race Day Schedule: 
6:30am - 7:45am: Race Day Packet Pick-up & Late Registration available at the District 2 Stadium 
8:00am: Pre-race stretch on the District 2 Stadium Field
8:00am: Kids Run Start
8:30am: 5K Race Start
9:00am - 10:00am: Post Race Celebration BEGINS! Join us for food trucks, jump castle, fun family fun and awards

10:00 till the afternoon - Post Celebration at ROOTED, Come celebrate a wonderful event! 

We are looking for sponsorships to help make the inaugural Wando Warrior 5K a spectacular event, and we need you! By partnering with us, you'll not only gain valuable exposure for your brand but also support a worthy cause. All money raised will go directly to Wando High School students, funding the purchase of essential educational tools and materials for our building. We offer a range of sponsorship levels to suit your needs and preferences. • What does my race fee include?

  • Race Bib w/Timing Chip, Long Sleeve Custom Race Shirt, Event Information, Sponsor Coupons, Race Swag and a Finisher Medal.

• When is packet pick up?

  • Friday, November 14th at Wando from 4:30 - 6:30

• What is the start time? 

  • Start time is 8:30 a.m. for the main race. 

• What time does the Kids Run Start? 

  • The Kids Run will start at 8:00 a.m. 

• Is it a rain or shine event? 

  • Yes! Rain or Shine!

• What's the course map? 

  • We are still in the process of getting our race map approved, but it should be a fun 3.2 mile loop around the Wando Area. 

• Where do I park? 

  • Please park in the A/B Parking Lot near the District 2 Stadium.

• Is there official timing for this race? 

  • Yes, but this race is not a qualifier. 

• Are there prizes for the top finishers? 

  • We have some awesome prizes for our top three male and top three female overall. We also will have prizes for each age group.
