Biscuits and Bubbles 5km and Fun Run - Supporting Haven Retreats

Join us at San Marco's Posting House for the third Biscuits and Bubbles 5km and Fun Run - Supporting Haven Retreats! Haven Retreats is a registered 501(c)3 whose mission is to create sustainability for foster and adoptive families. Haven hosts therapeutic retreats and provides wrap-around services for these foster and adoptive caregivers throughout the year. We will have a great 5km and 1mile fun run benefitting the work of Haven Retreats. The after run celebration will be amazing with a Mimosa Bar, beer and breakfast biscuits, a bubble machine and DJ. 

7:30am: Race packet pickup & day of race registration
8:30am: 5K Race
9:30am: 1 Mile Fun Run

CUSTOM EVENT SHIRTS:

All runners registered two weeks prior to the race are guaranteed to receive a custom shirt commemorating the event. All runners registering within two weeks of the race will receive a shirt as supplies permit.

GOODIE BAGS:

All participants will receive a goodie bag with giveaways and vendor/sponsor handouts.

POST RACE CELEBRATION:

Many of the race sponsors will have booths and tents set up at the post-race celebration with fun activities for everyone. In addition, there will be a post-race Mimosa Bar, Beer, Chick-fil-a Breakfast Biscuits, Bubble Machine and DJ playing awesome music.

Packet pickup will be available prior to race day and we encourage you to do this if at all possible.

If you are unable to pick up your packet beforehand, it will be available to collect on race day from 7:30am.

1 MILE FUN RUN

All race participants receive a medal.

Overall top 3 M & F youth under 12 will receive a special award.

5K RACE

All race participants receive a medal.

Awards will be given to overall top 3 M/F, & Top M&F masters and grand masters winners, and age group winners will be recognized in the following categories:

0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Runners will only receive one award:  overall or an age group award.  Over All awards will be based off GUN TIME, and Age Group Awards will be based off your individual chip time.   Awards must be claimed at the awards ceremony.   

All participants 15 and under are $25.00 for the 5k at all times.

The race will be chip timed using a bib chip system.    All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their clothing to score in the race.  Chips do NOT have to be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line.
