BISD Family 5K & Kids Fun Run

BISD is excited for our 4th Annual BISD Family 5K Run/Walk & Kids 1K Fun Run benefiting the health and wellness of our BISD teachers and staff!  Please join us for our Fun Run fundraiser featuring a chip timed 5K and Kids Fun Run.

The BISD Family 5k FUN run is a timed event, however it is an event for everyone of every ability. It's your event to enjoy as you wish! So don't worry about finishing times (unless you want to) - just come along to enjoy the day!

Date/Time: Saturday September 27th. Kids run 7:30 am, 5K at conclusion of the Kids Run

Parking: Brazoswood High School Student parking lot

All runners will receive the official 2025 participant race shirt and finishers medal. *Must register by Monday, September 9th to guarantee your shirt.  

Please visit our sponsors and vendors at the BISD Wellness Fair located in the CTE Center after the race!

Need help with your registration? Logistic questions? Etc. See below for some helpful information: 

• All participants are required to sign a waiver.
• Our event is a family affair! Runners, walkers and strollers are all welcome!
• Yes! Dog are permitted, but must remain leashed and well behaved the whole time. Owner accepts full responsibility for your pet and it's actions.
• Strollers are allowed. (only bibbed runners will receive medals)
• This run will be chip timed. Participants wear a timing chip integrated with their bib number that starts their individual time when they cross the start line and stops it when they cross the finish line.
• Participant gear must be picked up at designated packet pickup times:
  • Friday, September 27th TBD BISD Administration Building
  • Saturday, September 28th 6:15-7:00 AM Brazoswood HS Student Parking Lot
• There will be no mailed packets.
• Registration will close Friday September 27th. *There will be NO race day registration*
• Yes, this is a timed event however the Family 5k FUN run is for everyone of every ability. It is your event to enjoy as you wish! Don't worry about finishing times (unless you want to) - just come along and enjoy the day with BISD family!
• If at any time you are in need of assistance throughout the run please notify a volunteer or course monitor.
• There will be 2 marked water stations along the course.
• The run will start rain or shine. The run could be delayed due to lightning or other dangerous conditions.
• Bib transfers to other runners are not allowed.
• We are unable to process any cancellations or refunds once a runner is registered.

Friday Sept. 26th - 8:00 am - 10:00 am @ BISD Administration Building

Saturday, Sept. 27th - beginning at 7:00 am outside of Brazoswood Performance Gym

Parking for the BISD Family 5K, Kids fun Run and Wellness fair is located in the front student parking lot at Brazoswood High School. The 9th grade driveway will be closed to all traffic. For the safety of all our participants please do not attempt to go around any barricades. 

Every registered runner will receive a finishers medal and t-shirt!
