About Blauvelt Lions Journey For Sight 5k Run/Walk
The Blauvelt Lions Club is again hosting its 3rd annual 5K JOURNEY FOR SIGHT Run/Walk event! This special event will help raise funds for the many Vision Loss charities the Lions support (Vacation Camp for the Blind, Visions/Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Association for the visually impaired) as well as the other charities the club regularly support (Penguin Plunge, Lions International Disaster Relief, Scholarships for TZHS students). The Lion motto is “We Serve!” and the Blauvelt Lions look to embody that motto with service efforts to benefit the local community and those in need.

- The Kids' Dash will start at 10:15 am
- The race will start at 10:30 am
Registration:
- Day of Race Cost: $30
T-shirts
- Runners who Pre-Register before 5/24 will receive a t-shirt with sponsor names. Those who register after that date will receive a shirt if extra shirts allow.
Awards
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Men and Women
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Boys and Girls Under 14
