About Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5k Run/ Walk
Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Baker Park in Kewanee, IL
Lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement with us as we raise awareness about child abuse, sexual assault, and mental health in our community by participating in the Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk!
Registration includes a t-shirt if registered by March 18th!
Event Schedule:
- 9:00 AM: Community Resource Fair with our Community Partners
- 10:00AM: 5k Run/Walk
- 11:00AM: Complimentary Kids Fun Run *
*Kids Fun Run will start at 11am or after the final 5k finisher has finished the course
Highlights:
- Awards will be given to all 5K participants, with special recognition for the overall top three finishers (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).
- Enjoy family activities and various booths featuring exciting "Minute to Win It" games!
- All kids participating in the fun run will receive a goodie bags!
- Wear your superhero costume and help us make a difference in our community!
Don't miss out on this fun and meaningful event! All proceeds benefit Braveheart CAC.

- 4/17/26 from 3-530PM
- Kewanee Public Library
- 102 South Tremont Street, Kewanee, IL 61443
- If you cannot pick up on the 17th, you can pick up the morning of the race after 9am!
THE 5K RUN/WALK IS RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.
THE COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR IS AT THE DISCRETION OF COMMUNITY PARTNERS.
