About Brentwood Firecracker 5K
One of the largest, longest running, and most celebrated 5Ks in Western Pennsylvania,
the Brentwood Firecracker 5K is one of Pittsburgh’s favorite Fourth of July traditions,
since 1983!
Each year, a couple thousand runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and abilities
take on this iconic 3.1 mile course along Brownsville Road, cheered on every step of the
way.
The race starts at 9:00 AM, in front of Brentwood Towne Square. Immediately after the
race, the beloved Brentwood 4 th of July Parade starts, keeping the festivities going!

- A commemorative race day t-shirt.

What Will It Cost?
In order to cover all our expenses and continue to support our charity organizations, all registrations for 12 & over are $25, Kids 11& Under are $15.
When is Packet Pickup?
Packet pickup for all runners will be Saturday, June 28th at Baldwin High School from 10 am - 4 pm, Sunday June 29th at Baldwin High School from 1 pm- 4 pm and Wednesday July 2nd at Baldwin High School from 4 pm - 7 pm.
Can I Run With My Stroller Or Dog?
No. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the race course. Traditionally, this has been part of the rules every year, but it was not strictly enforced. We will be enforcing this in 2024.
Where can I park for the race?
Parking will be available in Brentwood Towne Square but is very limited, parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking is also available at Baldwin High School and shuttles will run from Baldwin high school to Brentwood Towne Square and back from 7:00 am-11:30 am.

What is the deadline to register?
- Registration will close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday July 2nd.
- There will be No Race Day registration.
- It will be packet pickup only on race day.
