Broad Ripple Duck Race 5k

Join hundreds of runners and walkers on Saturday, June 6th at 9:00 AM for the Broad Ripple Duck Race 5k!

Participants will get a scenic tour of the sights and sounds around the village of Broad Ripple! Proceeds from the event benefit the Broad Ripple Village Association, a nonprofit focused on enriching the community, amplifying public spaces, and improving quality of life.

Be sure to stick around once you finish for the Duck Race Festival complete with vendors, refreshments, and the famous Broad Ripple Duck Race where 3,000 rubber duck will race down the Central Canal. Be sure to get your ducks at packet pickup or on race day to have a chance to win!

This year's 5k route is our favorite yet! It will show off lots of the village as well as beautiful Broad Ripple Park! It is flat, fast, and will be a blast!

This is a great little loop for families and those wanting to get some shorter distance fitness and fun in! 

Do you have any of the following symptoms or conditions?

• Fever or Chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or Body Aches
• Headache
• Recent loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Within the past 14 days, have you had contact with anyone that you know that had COVID-19 or COVID-19 like symptoms?
• Have you had a positive COVID-19 test for active virus in the past 10 days?
• Within the past 14 days, has a public health or medical professional told you to self-monitor, self-isolate, or self quarantine because of concerns about
  COVID-19 infection?
• Are you ill or is someone you are caring for ill? 

If you have one or more symptoms listed above, or answered yes to any of the above questions please stay home, and take care of yourself. You can reach out to us to arrange packet shipping or to set up picking up your packet at a later date. Thanks for doing your part to keep us all safe!

Stick around after you finish for some post-race celebrating! We will have a variety of vendors present, raffling off prizes and other giveaways.

We would love to have you participate in our annual Ripple Effect 5k Run/Walk, even if you can't make the race in -person. Those who choose to race virtually will have the freedom to run wherever they choose from June 1 through June 30. Hit the trails in the afternoon or a treadmill while watching Netflix. Your call!
