About Brookhaven Run Classic 5000
OK Runner Norman has moved to a new shopping center, THE SHOPPES @ CASCADE, but we are still excited to bring the Brookhaven Run 5K back on a fun new route as the Brookhaven Run Classic! Join us on Saturday, August 30, 2025, (Labor Day weekend), at St. Mark Catholic Church in Norman for the same electric race day atmosphere you've known and loved for 38 years. Our new route makes its way through one of Norman's many gorgeous neighborhoods, and with less than 35 feet of total elevation gain across the entire route it's the perfect place to reach a new personal best! We're proud to have access to the same state-of-the-art chip timing system used in some of the biggest races across the country, so you know your results will be spot on.
This year's shirts will be a soft unisex short sleeve shirt that feature the event logo on the front. In order to keep the race as accessible as possible, we are offering registration both with and without a t-shirt. Make sure to double-check that you have selected the right option before you check out! Registrants who purchase a t-shirt through August 20th will be guaranteed your size. After August 21, t-shirt sizes will be limited to sizes on hand.
The Brookhaven Run Classic is honored to continue the long tradition of being the major source of funding for Norman High & Norman Norths High School's Cross Country team, and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to their runners.

Course Map
This year's route starts and finishes at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman. The route is pending USATF certification, and includes less than 35 feet of elevation gain as it makes its way through Castlerock and Carrington Place neighborhoods. There will be one water stop at roughly the halfway point.
