About Canal Path Classic
The first annual Canal Path Classic at Fort Herkimer Church, hosted by the Mohawk Youth and Family Center. A 5k run/walk and 10k run held entirely on the Erie Canalway Trail. Enjoy a flat, fast, scenic and traffic free course. Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt as part of their entry fee. Additionally awards will be given out to the top 3 male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k. Top 3 male and female youth will be awarded in the 5k. Due to the generous contributions of our sponsors, we will now have age group awards in addition to those awards already mentioned. The top 3 male and female will be awarded in each of the following age groups; 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60. To guarantee yourself a t-shirt please sign up prior to August 14th. Additionally there will be no day of registration, registration closes August 27. Bib pickup will be on race day at the German Flatts community center under the Gazebo beginning at 7 AM.
