Capitol Ford Santa Fe International Half Marathon

Run the City Different — welcome to the 6th annual Santa Fe International Half Marathon, presented by Capitol Ford.

Race weekend is September 17 to 19, 2027. Saturday, September 18 brings the 5K, the 10K and the free Kids Fun Dash, all starting at Reunity Resources Farm. Sunday, September 19 is the Half Marathon and the 3-Amigos Relay, starting at 7:30 AM at Romero's Park in Agua Fría and finishing at Reunity Resources Farm on the Santa Fe River Trail. Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome, whether you are chasing a personal best, trying a new distance, or bringing the family.

We run for water. Every year the race supports the Kitany Water Project, which brings clean, sustainable water to underserved communities. The finish line is for you: post-race food and Jirani Kahawa coffee. Custom finisher medals for everyone who finishes, and hand-made medallions by Maasai artists for the age-group winners. Awards are at 10:45 AM at Reunity Resources Farm: the 5K and 10K on Saturday, and the Half Marathon and 3-Amigos Relay on Sunday.

Race Options

Half Marathon (13.1 mi), Sunday, September 19, 7:30 AM. Starts at Romero's Park in Agua Fría and finishes at Reunity Resources Farm. The time limit is 3 hours 30 minutes from the 7:30 AM start. Runners only, no walkers.

3-Amigos Relay, Sunday, September 19, 7:30 AM. Team up with two friends or colleagues and cover the half marathon course as a team of three. Same 7:30 AM start.

10K, Saturday, September 18, 7:30 AM. New for 2027. Starts and finishes at Reunity Resources Farm.

5K, Saturday, September 18, 7:30 AM. Starts and finishes at Reunity Resources Farm.

Kids Fun Dash, Saturday, September 18, 9:00 AM. Ages 3 to 12. Free, at Reunity Resources Farm.

Packet Pickup

All participants pick up at Reunity Resources Farm, 1829 San Ysidro Crossing: Friday, September 17, 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, September 18, 10 AM to 5 PM. Half Marathon and Relay runners collect their bib and shirt at pickup. 5K and 10K runners pick up their bib and shirt on Friday, since their races start Saturday morning. Race-morning pickup on Sunday is for emergencies only, 6 to 7 AM.

Registration

Online registration closes September 15, 2027 for all events. After that, you can register in person at the Race Weekend Expo at Reunity Resources Farm, Friday and Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. 5K and 10K runners need to register by Friday, since their races start at 7:30 AM Saturday. There is no race-morning registration, so sign up early and save.

The 2026 course is new. The Half Marathon, 3-Amigos Relay and 5K start at Romero’s Park in Agua Fría at 7:30 AM and finish at Reunity Resources Farm, 1829 San Ysidro Crossing — not downtown. Roads into the start close at 7:00 AM.

Park at Reunity Resources Farm — the finish is there, so your car is waiting when you cross. There is no return shuttle, and none is needed.
