PROPER BIB PLACEMENT
DUATHLON PHOTO BIB PLACEMENT
HOW TO GET YOUR BEST PHOTOS
CORRECT BIB# PLACEMENT
On Body - Bike - and Helmet
The photos on RunSignUp will be easily searchable by your name or Bib# as long as your Bib# clearly shows in the photo.
So please take your time to have your Bib# clearly displayed on
1-The front of your chest or abdomen, not on your back!
2-On the FRONT of your bike helmet, not the side.
3-On the front horizontal tube, close to the handlebar, for easy side viewing, or on the seat vertical tube.
Note: As an extra location you can also write your bib# on your opposite shoulders and calf with a thick black marker.

You will receive your bib and decals at check-in, if you have not already picked it up at one of our early packet pick up dates.
Remember your photos will be easily searchable by name or bib#, if the bib# clearly shows in the photo!
Finish Line Photos:

For the best-looking Finish Line photos, make sure to keep your head up, arms up, do not look at your watch, stay in the center, and SMILE for the camera!
You will then get a GREAT Finish Line photo!
We normally try to take 2 zoomed in photos as you approach the FL (at 10yds & 5yds out), and the last photo right after you cross the FL, at about 1yd!
Please do not stay too close behind another runner which may block your photo.
Special Photos:
Don’t hesitate to ask Ed, our photographer to take any special photos of you and your friends and family. He is there to help you get those special memorable photos at the race!
Note: We try to photograph everyone, but it is not always possible.
Rules & Regulations
Event Rules and Regulations
USA Triathlon has issued a set of rules to maintain consistency and order from race to race across the country. The rules include sections on membership, and rules of conduct for swimming, cycling, running, and transition. For all the details about USAT Rules CLICK HERE. The Competitive Rules are intended to provide for the orderly and consistent administration of events sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Every participant, official, volunteer and spectator should consider all safety issues and make related decisions prudently without reliance upon the Competitive Rules.
Safety is a Shared Responsibility
No matter what inspired you to become a triathlete, you’re responsible for showing up at the starting line fully prepared for the challenge ahead of you. Safety in the sport is not just the responsibility of the National Governing Body, sanctioned events and race directors, who are subject to the scrutiny of USA Triathlon’s rigorous sanctioning process and expected to uphold the best safety protocols. It is also the responsibility of the athlete. The concept of shared responsibility is one that USA Triathlon, its sanctioned event race directors and all participants should embrace. To learn more about how you can share in the responsibility of safety CLICK HERE.
