About Charity Dog Walk + Pool Pawty
Join us for a tail-wagging good time at our Charity Dog Walk & Pool Pawty—all to support Esther Boyd Animal Shelter!
Dog Walk: 10 AM ($25)
Join our 2-mile charity dog walk and receive a t-shirt, bandana and early VIP pool access from 11 AM to noon! This untimed walk loops through the Sherando trail system, starting and finishing beside Sherando Pool.
Pool Pawty: 12 PM ($5) pay on site
Enjoy pool time with your furry friend, plus food, ice cream, vendors, and more!

Additional Information
One bandana per registrant is included in registration (if registering to walk with a dog), but if you need additional bandanas, you will have the opportunity to "add on" during checkout. See 2024 t-shirt and bandana design below!

Pool Pawty
After the charity dog walk & VIP swim, the pool opens to the public at noon! Bring your picnic blanket and take dip in the pool with your pup! Check out food and ice cream for purchase, pet-related vendors, demos, and more! Proceeds from this event benefit Esther Boyd Animal Shelter.
Event entry is FREE. $5 per dog to swim in the pool for designated time slot below.

For the health and safety of all dogs and people participating, I agree to observe the rules for canines attending the event with me. See below for rules:
- Participating dogs must be currently licensed with proof of Parvo and Rabies vaccinations. You do not need to bring proof with you; if an incident occurs, you must be able to produce proof in a reasonable amount of time.
- For safety reasons, “extend-a-leashes” will NOT be allowed. Dogs must be always kept on a regular leash. Leashes should be no more than six feet in length while on the course. If the event gets crowded, longer leashes can be extremely hazardous.
- Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
- Event officials reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog whose behavior could be dangerous to others. Please use good judgment regarding the temperament of your pet so that this event will be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
- Please be sure you and your dog are well-conditioned for this event.
