Chase Summer 5K

Kick off your summer with the Chase Summer 5K at Eastern Regional Park! Join us Friday, June 19th at 7 PM for a fun and friendly evening run or walk. 

Bring your friends, enjoy the sunset, and be part of the community.

The course features a mix of paved pathways, natural trail surfaces, and wooden bridge crossings as it winds through the park’s beautiful green spaces. Participants can expect a mostly smooth and runnable route with a few natural surface sections that add a touch of adventure. All turns will be clearly marked with directional arrows. Each lap segment will be chip timed with results posted promptly online.

Why This Race Is Only $12

The Chase Summer 5K was created with a simple goal: make racing accessible to everyone. Too often, registration fees make it difficult for people to participate, so this event is intentionally priced to keep the starting line open to as many runners and walkers as possible.

This race is produced at cost, meaning the registration fee simply covers essential event expenses like permits, timing, insurance, and basic race operations. Instead of big production costs, the focus is on community, movement, and enjoying the outdoors together.

6 PM - Packet Pickup will open under Pavilion B
7 PM - 5K Starts

Run, walk or jog - there are no prizes on the line and therefore, no awards ceremony.

Indoor restroom facilities will be available at the park.

Free parking is available on-site.

Dogs are welcome at Eastern Regional Park, but must be kept on a leash at all times and are restricted from the playground areas.
