Cinco de Mayo Run

Join us for a Friday evening race! There will be a post-race party with beer for those 21 and over, delicious food from Chimi’s, and a live mariachi band.  
One Mile Fun Run starts at 6:30 PM.  
5 km Run begins at 7:15 PM.

On race day (May 1), in-store packet pickup will close at 2 PM.  Packet pickup at the race location will begin at 5:30 PM.  

Q: How do I know if I signed up for the race?

A: Log in to your Run Sign Up account. Click the grey profile icon. Select profile. The race in question should be listed under My Upcoming Events or if you select My Registered Races (under My Upcoming Events) it will also be listed here.

Q: Can I transfer my race registration to another race?

A: Yes, up to 30 days prior to race date.  Select My Registrations from your run sign up profile, click on event you want to transfer out of, click on Transfer Race, complete steps as indicated.

Q: Can I run with my dog?

A: No. For the safety of all participants we cannot allow dogs to be a part of our races.

Q: Can I run with a stroller?

A: Yes. For the safety of all participants we do ask that those running with a stroller start at the back.

Q: Can I receive a refund for this race?

A: Refunds can be given up to 30 days prior to race date.  View refund policy to review the policy and request a refund if within the policy terms. 

Q: Are there any discounts for race registration fees?

A: Unless listed on our social media or announced through the Race Page – registration fees are as posted.

Q: Can I exchange my race shirt for a different size before the race?

A: Through packet pick-up you can change your shirt size following these steps:  Log in to your Run Sign Up account. Click the grey profile icon in the top right corner. Select profile. The race in question should be listed under My Upcoming Events. Click on manage.  Scroll to bottom and select Change Giveaway Option. NOTE:  If a shirt size is sold out, you will not be able to switch to the sold out size. In this instance, you will need to take the shirt size for which you registered.  On race day, after the race has started, if we have a shirt in the size you want still available, you can swap at that time.

Q: Can I do the race virtual even though it’s an in-person race?

A: No, we are not offering virtual racing at this time.

Q: Can I register for the race in store instead of online?

A: All registrations are done online, even race day registration.  Our Fleet Feet stores have computers that you can utilize to register. If you need assistance registering please feel free to come inside and we can help you out.

Q: Can I pick up my bib and shirt at the race?

A: Yes! If you are unable to pick up your packet in store - it will be at the race registration table prior to the start of the race.  

Q: Can I register on race day?

A: If there are available spots on race day - we often sell out races.  I wouldn't risk it.

Q: Where do I park for the race?

A: Check under Race Info, Parking.

Q: Where do I find a map of the race route?

A: Check under Race Info, course map

Q: What happens if there’s bad weather on race day?

A: Weather conditions will be monitored on race day. In the case of severe weather, the start times of the races may be delayed. Rain does not cancel race. In the extreme case the weather is severe enough to cancel the race, there will be no makeup date.

Q: Will water be provided for participants?

A: Yes! Water will be provided on the route.

An e-mail will be sent to all participants when we are ready to begin In-store packet pick-up.  Those dates should be Wednesday April 29th -Friday May 1 at 2PM

At 2 PM on Friday May 1st packets will be collected and moved to the race location for on-site packet pickup at Dream Keepers Park beginning at 5:30 PM.

Race parking:  there are several surface lots just north of Dream Keepers Park.  Some of these lots are free parking after business hours - be sure you pay attention to any signage before you park.  Street parking in the area is free.  

Each 5K and Fun Run finisher will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal.

Bibs need to be worn on the FRONT of your body with the number visible!

Do not bend the timing tag on the back on your bib.  If it is broken, the timing device will not read your bib.

Sometimes things happen and the device does not read your bib.  That is why it is important your number be visible on the front of your body!  Our timing crew has backup procedures that include writing down bib numbers as participants cross the finish line so times can still be recorded and accurate.  If your bib is not visible on the front of your body they can't write down your bib as you cross the finish line.
