The distribution of age group awards will begin 1/2 hour after the first finishers of each race at the Packet Pickup Tent.

Are bikes allowed?
No.

What if my Garmin, iPod, Smart device, is slightly more than the official race distance?
On race day, if the distance shown on your device is greater than the official race distance, it just means you weren’t cutting corners— quite literally. According to the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federation) course measurement guidelines (pg. 20), a road race course is defined by the shortest possible route a runner could take without being disqualified. After the race, if your device shows that you ran a little farther, this just accounts for extra steps you took to run around other participants, obstacles, hit a water stop, port-o-potty or stayed to the middle or outside lane.

What if my Garmin, iPod, Smart device, shows a slightly different time than the official race time?
How accurate your Garmin can be is affected by trees, cloud cover, mountains nearby, etc. so go on your chip time when racing. The main reason your Garmin will register a different time from race time is due to auto pause or signal dropout. If you lose reception time will still move on but your moving time may differ. If you look at your data you will see 3 records of time – Time, Moving Time & Elapsed time.

What if I can’t run the race?
There are no refunds, but we do offer deferrals or transfers and you can purchase registration insurance. See details here.

Gear Check

The option for Gear Check will be available again this year. You can drop off your bags at the Gear Check tent and pick them up after the race. Please make sure to bring your own bag for the gear check. Your bib will include a gear check tab which will be used to identify your bag. Please pick up your belongings by 11AM.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
All entry fees are non-refundable under any and all circumstances. This policy applies to all registrants whether you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, or anything else.

There are NO exceptions. We do allow deferrals and transfers if all guidelines are met and we also offer registration insurance during signups to protect against unforeseen circumstances. See all guidelines/deadlines below for deferrals and transfers.

Race organizers, in conjunction with public safety officials, reserve the right to cancel the event at any time related to ensuring the safety of participants, spectators, and the community.  In the event of a race cancellation, refunds, credits, or deferrals are NOT guaranteed to participants; however, race organizers will consider the cancellation circumstances and may provide participants with some registration compensation options.

DEFERRAL/ROLLOVER POLICY
To defer/rollover your race entry you must process your request by December 31, 2026. After this deadline notifications will not be valid. Rollover entries are only valid for the following year’s event, i.e., 2027 for 2028. A $25 rollover fee applies until December 31, 2026.

The defer option can be found by logging on to RunSignUp, navigating to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Defer Registration located on the top of the page. For help click here.

We do not allow deferrals for the Kids Run or complimentary entries.

TRANSFER YOUR ENTRY TO ANOTHER PERSON
You can transfer your registration to another participant until December 31, 2026, for an additional $15 processing fee. To transfer to another runner, log on RunSignup and select Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer to Another Runner located on the top of the page.

There are two types of ‘participant to participant’ transfers, “Registration Gifts” and “Registration Transfers”.

“Registration Gifts”, where the registrant gives their registration to another user, does not receive a refund, and the recipient is able to register for free just paying the processing fee.

“Registration Transfers”, where the registrant offers their registration to another user, and upon that user’s paid registration, the original registrant receives a refund minus the processing fee.
