About Climb Pocono - To End Cancer
Climb Pocono - To End Cancer
Last year we hosted our first annual Climb To Conquer Cancer Pocono event. Our 3 mile endurance hiking event took you from Camelback Resorts to Big Pocono State Park.
Highlights included:
- Instagram influencer Kim.Hiked.It joined us with a team of other local influencers in the area.
- A challenge of hiking up to PA state park, Big Pocono.
- A fun reward at Hike Fest! After your hike you relaxed with live music, food and beverage, local community partners, our CLIMB sign and a stunning view at Camelback's Summit House.
This year we have updated our name. This change has been made to honor the Indigenous People that once lived on our park lands. The word "conquer" held some negativity towards these people.

Event Details
Sign up for the challenge of hiking from Camelback to the summit of Big Pocono State Park. Our family friendly, all inclusive, hiking event includes Survivor activities, live music, giveaways, and a day of adventure!
Registration includes a t-shirt!
Saturday May 16, 2026 8am-12pm
Starting point Camelback parking lot D6 (look for event signs)
Hike is a little over 3 miles to the Summit of Big Pocono State Park up the road.
Estimated elevation gain is 600 feet.
The hike is on a paved road. See additional hikes on the main page.
Don't worry we shuttle you back down!
8am Arrive/ Registration Check In in lot D6
9am After getting hyped up we have a shot gun start and we hike to the top
Make your way to the top and join us for Hike Fest!
Survivor Tent for Survivors
DJ Jamal at the Summit House starts at 10:00am
11am Shuttles start to take you back down to your car start at the Summit House
12pm That's a wrap! We can't wait to see you next year!

$35 registration fee includes event t-shirt
$25 for Veterans, children and students includes event t-shirt
