About Colonel Challenge 5K Run
Welcome to the Colonel Challenge 5K Run!
The purpose of this event is to raise money to support Magruder High School Athletics. Ample parking available in the Magruder HS parking lot. Our awards ceremony will begin following the Youth Fun Run at approximately at 9:00am.
Baby joggers and strollers are allowed, but you must start in the back. It is your responsibility to make sure that your baby jogger/stroller does not impede other runners, and you must take extra precaution to ensure your safety, your child's safety, and the safety of the runners around you. We reserve the right to pull any participant from the race who is endangering other runners or themselves.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers as well as the top 1 male and female finisher in each of the following age groups:
- 11-15
- 16-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70+
Overall awards will be conducted using gun time. Age group awards will be conducted using net time. No duplication of awards.
In the team categories, the top team in each of the following categories will be awarded:
- Redland Middle School Students (active students only)
- Shady Grove Middle School Students (active students only)
- Magruder High School Students (active students only)
- Magruder Alumni
All teams must be comprised of 3 members per team and may be all-female, all-male, or a mixture.

Packet Pickup
Race packets will be available Friday, October 2 from 6-8pm INSIDE the Magruder High School Stadium Concession Stand and on race morning from 6:30-7:45am. Participants are encouraged to attend the Friday Packet Pickup to avoid lines and delays on race morning. Shoe chips will be handed out on race morning.
