Columbus Donut Run and Walk

Join us for the Columbus Donut Run & Walk, a family-friendly event packed with fun and excitement! Choose from a 1-mile walk, 5k walk/run, or 10k walk/run, and don’t forget the FREE Kids Donut Dash! All participants will enjoy great swag and indulge in a fresh, tasty donut at the finish line. Bring your friends and family for a sweet day of fitness and smiles!

All 1mi, 5k and 10k participants will receive a freshly baked donut, finish line photos, very soft ring spun blended shirts, finisher medals (full color custom diecast medals), custom race bibs, a chip timed race, instant results, snacks, fruit, refreshments, beautiful race course in Columbus, photo op in front of a 25 foot tall inflatable donut and more!

Kids Donut Dash participants will have a choice whether or not to receive swag during registration.  However, ALL participants will receive a donut, including those who sign up for the free race!

Everyone in the 1mi, 5k and 10k will receive a finishers medal. Kids Donut Dash participants will also have the option to receive a finishers medal, shirt and race bib.

Age groups are as follows for the 1mi, 5k and 10k and results will be posted with age groups but there will not be an awards ceremony or awards given out (finisher medals for everyone).

9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89 & 90+

All Kids Donut Dash participants will receive a donut!

All courses will be on paved surfaces.

Every race will start and finish at the exact same line at Scioto Audubon Metro Park near the rock climbing wall/water tower. All routes will be on paved trails.

This run will be chip timed and it is very important that you visibly wear your bib on the front of your chest/body when crossing the start and finish line to ensure an accurate race time.

This is a dog friendly event however dogs must be on a leash and to avoid tripping at the start line we recommend anyone with a dog starts after the main group has begun. We will have a bowl for dogs setup at the finish line!

Anyone who wants to start the race after the main group has begun the run is more than welcome to and your time will still be accurate.

We do allow strollers at this event.

Headphones/iPod/mp3 devices are allowed, though are strongly not recommended. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect present or potential hazards and dangers as well as verbal instructions from course marshals.

If at any time you or someone else on course is in need of assistance throughout the run please notify a course marshal or dial 911 in case of an emergency and then please let the closest course marshal know as well.

The run will start rain or shine. The run could be delayed due to lightning or other dangerous conditions. The above schedule is weather-dependent.

Parking is available at Scioto Audubon Metro Park by the central activity area and the surrounding parking lots.

Refunds are not allowed for this race however we do have options. You can defer, change races, donate your entry fee to the charity, switch to a virtual event or purchase event insurance and receive a refund through your insurance claim. If you want to defer your registration to next year you can do that as well as change to another one of our races in the same calendar year.

To defer or change races please do not contact us, simply locate your confirmation email from when you signed up and under your event click the blue hyperlink text that says: Manage Registration

If you would like to switch to a different distance than what you signed up for (for example you signed up for the 10k but want to switch to the 5k or you want to switch to virtual) you can also do that by managing your registration and there is no need to reach out to us as you can make that change quickly and easily.

Please note registration is locked and you as well as the race organizer cannot make any changes within 48 hours of the start of the race. The only change that can be made in that time is when you check in for the race you can let the volunteer or staff member know you wish to downgrade your distance.
