This unique race invites runners to experience the unmatched beauty of Corolla—past the iconic Currituck Beach Lighthouse, through coastal neighborhoods, and even along a stretch of beach where wild horses still roam.

The 10-mile course is flat, fast, and scenic, making it ideal for runners of all levels, from first-timers to seasoned athletes chasing a PR. For families and casual participants, the 5K Run offers a shorter alternative along the same scenic roads and packed beach trails as the 10-mile course.

Whether you’re racing for time or simply soaking in the coastal views, the Corolla Ten Miler promises an unforgettable experience, complete with a welcoming community, post-race festivities, and race swag. Participants can expect a well-organized event with chip timing, water stations, and enthusiastic community support. Sunday, September 21, 2025 – Historic Corolla Park

Start your morning with sunrise over the Currituck Sound and the buzz of runners gathering at the Whalehead Club. Pick up your bib, grab some coffee, and warm up with stunning lighthouse views.

8:00 AM — Ten Miler start
8:30 AM — 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk

The course winds through coastal roads, shady live oaks, and waterfront stretches, with aid stations and cheering volunteers along the way.

Cross the finish, collect your custom medal, and enjoy post-race music, refreshments, awards, and sponsor tents.
