The streets of Talent are calling, and they want YOU.

Every year, the Day of the Dead Race fills our town with runners, walkers, families, and friends of every age, every background, and every pace. It’s more than a race. It’s a celebration of Latino culture, of life, and of the people we carry with us.

Expect music that moves your feet, food that feeds your soul, dancing that spills into the streets, and art that stops you in your tracks. Paint your face, wear your flowers, and bring someone with you in spirit.

Come run. Come walk. Come belong.

When we share our culture, we build more than community. We build understanding, joy, and a tradition worth showing up for year after year.

FAQ's

When: Sunday, October 25. Race starts at 2:00pm.

Where: Talent City Hall, 110 E Main St, Talent, OR 97540. Start and finish are in front of the horseshoe driveway.

Distances: 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K. Walkers are welcome. Every pace belongs here.

Packet pickup: Race day, starting at 1:00pm at Talent City Hall.

Your shirt: If you purchased a shirt it is included in your race packet. Shirts are not mailed.

Can't make it on race day? Let us know and we'll hold your shirt with one of our community partners.

Parking: Street parking on Main, Front, John, and Market Streets, plus the Talent Post Office lot. The City Hall horseshoe is closed for the race.

Restrooms: Available on site near the start/finish.

Costumes and face paint: Encouraged! Calaveras, flowers, and your best Día de los Muertos look.

Pre and Post-race fuel: Sweet Beet Station is right across the street. Show your bib on race day for 10% off.
