Donate Life Family Fun Run

The Donate Life Family Fun Run is a 5K run and walk and 1K walk to honor generous donors and their families, celebrate transplant recipients and support those currently waiting for a lifesaving or healing transplant.

*Please note: Packet pickup is only necessary for 5K and 1K participants (all ages) who register after February 26, 2026. If you fall into this category, we strongly encourage you to pick up your race packet (bib and t-shirt) in advance so you don't have to wait in line on race day. Additional details:

• If you register after February 26, 2026 for an in-person race event and do not claim your shirt at packet pickup, you have until May 1 to make arrangements to pick up your shirt from Infinite Legacy's Baltimore office. Unclaimed shirts are donated to local community support organizations.

• If you are a virtual participant who registers by February 26, 2026, your t-shirt will be mailed to you before the race. If you register after February 26, your shirt will be mailed after the race.

• If you are a volunteer, you may pick up your t-shirt on race day at the volunteer tent in Lot C.

No need to print anything out - just bring a photo ID to packet pickup.

Due to increased participation in the Donate Life Family Fun Run, team captains are NOT ALLOWED to pick up their entire team's packets. You ARE allowed to pick up packets for immediate family members (in the same household) - OR - one other participant's packet with advance written permission (a signed or emailed note from the participant acknowledging who will be picking up their packet).

Refunds

Race registration fees (and the processing charge from RunSignup) are not refundable for the Donate Life Family Fun Run, presented by Infinite Legacy. These funds are used to pay for race premiums, permits, supplies, vendors and other costs incurred before, during and after the event is held. In order to be consistent and fair to everyone, we cannot make exceptions to this policy. 

Cancellation or Postponement

We understand that having as much information as possible at your disposal is crucial before deciding to attend an event, and we want to ensure you are aware of your options should the in-person race not proceed as originally planned. 

When inclement weather or other circumstances in the surrounding race area (local emergencies, public health emergencies, etc.) threaten to impact an event, we must make decisions on whether to continue as planned or make modifications to the schedule. While lightning may be the most commonly recognized weather issue, many other conditions could force us to make changes to our race plans (high winds, flooding, heavy rain, public safety demands on law enforcement due to inclement weather, safety concerns on the course, etc.). Circumstances unrelated to weather (downed trees or power lines, local emergencies, etc.) can also impact our event. In some cases, these conditions may be obvious to participants, but in others, they may only be known to race officials and law enforcement. 

Modifications to our event could include delaying the start time, modifying the planned course, postponing to a later date or canceling. Infinite Legacy reserves the right to make modifications to our event at any time and we exercise this right to keep participants, vendors, public safety officers, spectators and staff safe.

Please know that in the event of an extreme weather condition, cancellation is our last resort. We work hard to produce premier events that our participants will enjoy, so we don't want to throw in the towel any more than you do. We promise to communicate issues to participants as soon as possible through e-mail, social media and website updates. In some instances, we may be able to make decisions several days in advance; other situations call for "game time" decisions.

Our venue is also the home of two professional sports teams and their schedule takes priority over ours. Scheduling conflicts may arise due to special events or post-season play. In the event that our race is postponed due to such unforeseen circumstances, registration for all participants will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled date. If participants are no longer able to participate in person, their registration will be transferred to the virtual event and they can participate from wherever they are.

Race registration fees are non-refundable, but in the case of a complete event cancellation, we will offer affected participants a discounted registration to the following year's event.
