About Double Trouble - 5K & 10K
Join us on the beautiful C. Shane Wilbanks Trails around Lake Grapevine for the 26th annual Double Trouble 5K & 10K, Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers (RAW) club's signature fall event! Both the 5K and 10K races wind through scenic trails with breathtaking views of the lake.
Want an extra challenge? Double your Trouble by running both the 5K and 10K — staggered start times make it possible!
This event is not only a celebration of running and community, but also an important fundraiser — it provides a significant portion of RAW’s annual operating budget, supporting our members and programs. In addition, 30% of this year’s proceeds will be donated to TBD.

Important Race Details
- Check our race website for more and the latest details on awards, packet pickup, race-day schedule, race insurance and refund, transfer policy, and more.
- The 5K starts at 8 AM. 10K start is at 8:50 AM. Those taking longer than 50 minutes to complete the 5K should watch for the 10K runners, and kindly stay to the right of the path for everyone's safety and enjoyment - there's room for everyone.
- Both races will use the IPICO chip timing system. Race participants will pick up their chip on RACE DAY. ALL timing chips must be returned at the finish line - volunteers will be there to assist you.
- Aid stations will have water and sports drink. The 10K will pass the aid stations four times, and the 5K will pass the add stations twice.
- Race items cannot be mailed to event "no shows."
- Event registrations are non-refundable. Race insurance is available from Run Sign-Up.
